Using Neutrogena Retinol Pro+ for a couple of years now
Here’s what I like, along with the real results. The label tells you the amount of retinol in the product.”Peter what are you using so that you don’t look old?” my two friends asked me. They are doctors working at mainstream hospitals nearby.I’ve been using Neutrogena Retinol Pro+ two or three times a week for more than a year. I’m an ex-smoker, age 76 who otherwise has always had a pretty healthy lifestyle.Neutrogena Retinol Pro+ is easy to use. I didn’t have any side-effects. I learned the habit of washing my face with soap mornings and most nights. You might say that this is a lot of trouble, but I do it. Using an SPF face lotion several days a week might also be called a hassle, but I do it. I shopped for the least expensive name brand.My wife is really beautiful, twelve years younger, and has natural wrinkles at the corner of her eyes. I still have the forehead creases and the shrinking lines around the mouth that are too deep for any cosmetic product, I think. But without the Neutrogena Retinol Pro+ maybe they would be lots worse!

Great night cream!
All the neutrogena retinol products are great. I use the night retinol cream in conjunction with the eye cream and I feel a difference in my skin. Keep in mind that retinol products require time for your skin to adjust. I did not take the warnings on the box seriously about breaking up the days and taking it slowly. In a matter of days my skin was tight (in a bad way!), itchy, and dry. Luckily, I had the neutrogena hydroboost night cream and day moisturizing gel, both of which are super hydrating so I hydrated up until my skin returned to normal. After that, I took it slow — hydroboost most nights and then the retinol products 2-3 nights a week. That worked. Within 2 weeks my skin acclimated to the retinol and I am able to use it most nights. It’s a good product. I periodically check ebay for better price points.. consider doing that yourself. Otherwise, go for it!

Oily container, loose lid, shrunken contents
Box was not sealed, neither was the container inside. Its lid was not on tight, which explains why the outside was oily and the contents had shrunk. No expiration date. My wife loved Neutrogena but is now looking for a different brand.

It’s good – just be careful with it
I gave it 4 stars because it’s a bit harder on my skin than other brands. I normally use Roc but they were out so I bought this to try. I live by my retinol! This made my face dry and flaky in patches. The Roc never did. This is a very luxurious cream but if you have dry or sensitive skin you will want to skip a day or two in between uses. That’s what I do.

Totally obsessed with this product! Back when I was in Colorado, my skin was always acting up, but ever since I started using this, it’s improved so much — even my acne has cleared up a lot. Pairing it with CeraVe’s PM lotion is just perfect. I just stocked up again during the Labor Day sale, and I’ll definitely repurchase. Highly recommend!

I don’t like the package as other comments here, but for the function: age care, it’s the best I have never had. I usually use it at night , and when I wake up, my skin does look much better.

The product was old or damaged by heat. It had conjealed into a weird jelly. I suspect the active ingredient of retinol is ineffective. Upon querying this I was simply told it has no expiration date despite the website of the brand saying not to use products that have changed in consistency for fear of damaging your skin. I could not get a replacement and my query was simply closed which I find quite unprofessional.
