As advertised, Neutrogena blends in, is dry to the touch, and can keep skin from burning by following the directions. My very sun sensitive skin can tolerate an outing of an hour or more (I don’t do much more than an hour in full sun) without being burnt. I do wear a daily moisturizer on my face under the Neutrogena.I saw a post that this Neutrogena did not pair well with make-up. I use a liquid make-up and put it in my hand and add a little bit of Neutrogena and mix it up with my finger, then apply. The only problem is too much of the sunscreen can lighten your color. Of course, I put Neutrogena on my face which has moisturizer and sunscreen, then apply the mix of sunscreen and my liquid makeup. Then I add the rest of my makeup routine, blush, powder and I’m ready to go. It gives me a little more coverage over the imperfections of my face.

I’ve used this product on and off over the years….and am back using it. Not sure why I stopped using. This is a great non-greasy sunscreen that is, also, water proof. Lotion does not change my skin tone, it only provides a layer of sun protection. SPF 70 is perfect for my fair skin and I know it is protecting me fron skin damage.

Worked but white streaks
I love Neutrogena products & almost always use their sunscreens especially since I have sensitive skin. I hadn’t tried this version yet but was excited bc I hate that greasy sunblock feeling. This went on very well & did not leave me sticky or greasy. I was in direct sun at an outdoor event & did not burn at all! But… it left white marks on my clothes & anything I touched!! I didn’t have white casting on my skin just what I touched. I was wearing navy shorts & I could see white deodorant looking streaks. It coated my phone & my clear plastic purse where I had touched them. So while I appreciated not having that typical sticky/greasy feeling especially since I was sweating, I’m bummed it left white streaks on anything I came in contact with. But I didn’t burn.

Less white-cast, applies silky, mineral sunscreen
I really like this sunscreen. I was using another brand that was very thick and hard to apply and left the most awful white cast that my family would laugh every time I came into the room. It took forever for that brand to absorb.However, this Nutrogena goes on with much less white cast. It is a tiny greasy but most of the mineral sunscreens are. I like the mineral sunscreens as I can apply them over my skincare, and with the ‘chemical’ ones, you really likely have to put them on clean bare skin so they can absorb into your skin. This way, I can do my skincare and apply this sunscreen last.it smooths on silkily and easily.The price is very reasonable.This tube should last me a good while as I only use it on my face and my chest.There was zero irritation to my rosacea-prone skin, which is why I like mineral sunscreens better as well, since sometimes the ‘chemical’ sunscreens irritate my skin.I would re-order.

Good Sunscreen, NOT unscented
Pros: Descent sunscreen, trusted brand, works as described. It would be great for folks who are looking for a sunscreen that goes on easily and who don’t mind the scent. Doesn’t feel greasy.Cons: White gets all over clothing and items -White gets on my running clothes and needs to be washed off, which is ok because I have to wash clothing after running anyway. It may be more problematic if I was going to use it with fancier clothing. Unclear if once it’s blended into skin if it will still do this as I typically apply before running and avoid the sun otherwise.Scent: I was looking for a sunscreen that was unscented and this sunscreen is listed as unscented (see photo below) It absolutely has a scent, very floral and heavy when first applied. The scent sort of goes away, but I have migraines that are triggered by scents. So this just won’t work for me. I’m trying out the new fragrance free option. Hoping that one will be the same only actually unscented. 🤞

I had used Neutrogina sunscreen before, however, I had forgotten how great it is for every day use. Great protection, non greasy or sticky and very light on the skin, especially if you have to use it under make up.It smells nice too, not your typical sun lotion smell.

As a woman past 40 with acne and sensitive skin, I’m constantly searching for sunscreen that doesn’t make me break out or irritate. A couple of years ago, while in the tropics during winter, everyone thought I had a bad sunburn, but no, it was hives all over my chest, neck, and face. I looked like a swollen lobster, which is not a good look when you are actually eating lobster.I’ve tried every brand I can find in all different price ranges. Inevitably, I toss the ones that make me break out in hives or are super irritating, and most of the remaining clog my pores or otherwise encourage facial acne, so they end up in a bag for the rest of my family to use. The last time I was at a beach, I just hauled out my failed pricey facial sunscreens, slathered them all over my legs, and wore a gigantic hat.Then my blue-eyed red-headed niece (extremely sensitive to the sun) told me about Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen . Her dermatologist had recommended it because of her acne issues. I was a bit skeptical because I’d been prescribed all kinds of treatments by my dermatologist, and none of them worked very well, but I’ve been using this all this summer and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I still wear a hat because we all know no sunscreen protects 100%, but most importantly, my skin has actually gotten clearer.It’s expensive but worth it if, like me, every other sunscreen makes you break out in rash or pimples. As you can see in the pictures, a small amount goes a long way and is completely sheer with no residue. One pump from the applicator is exactly enough for the face and neck.It’s not super moisturizing, but if I apply my moisturizer first and give it time to settle, I can benefit from both. Another great advantage of this lotion is that it can be reapplied without residue building up. I’ve used products that get gross after a couple of layers, but this really is very sheer and seems to absorb completely into the skin.There is no added fragrance, so you don’t have to worry about weird odors, All around, really good sunscreen.
