Statins versus Alternatives, Such as Healthy Heart
I am a typical person and not a Doctor. I am providing my opinion only. I am highly educated and a person who cares about his health and has taken supplements, such as Healthy Heart, for years. Others included Focus-Factor for my brain, which I swear by.If you read this review, you will understand that you own your body and you have to research what is prescribed. I was prescribed a medication for over five years, which was only recommended for two weeks. Studies now show that if you take this medicine for over four weeks the potential for Alzheimer’s at age 70 was over 80%. I was prescribed it for over five years and now have had to retire at 71 with a serious memory problem. We have to protect ourselves.There is significant research showing that statins, for example Lipitor and Zocor, are not the best approach to prevent a heart attack. A doctor of mine and I discussed using statins. The organization, a huge western healthcare organization he belonged to, cholesterol’s treatment protocol required the use of statins for high LDL (bad) cholesterol. His personal research concluded that statins do not prevent a first heart attack, there was evidence it would potentially prevent a second heart attack. He did not take statins.I have based my decision of non-Big Pharma research. I recommend two videos within Amazon’s Prime Video: 1) Statin Nation I: The Great Cholesterol Cover-Up and 2) Statin Nation II: What Really Causes Heart Disease? I want you to take responsibility for you decision on this matter. I have chosen alternatives like Healthy Heart, your doctor will likely recommend statins. You have to make the decision and assume the risk.My conclusion from my research of statins is that they 1) do not prevent plaque build up in the arteries and 2) they lead to Alzheimer’s disease due to attacking the cholesterol in the brain, which is more than 80% cholesterol. Studies showed that when statins were introduced to the public, Alzheimer’s diagnosis rose dramatically.Because of this, I sought a natural alternative to statins and my research concluded that Healthy Heart was a very good one to use to promote good heart health. Like many alternatives, it is difficult to determine there effectiveness, you have to look at the ingredient’s and studies if they have been performed.In terms of reducing cholesterol, I had very high LDL (bad) for decades and simply my switching to organic type foods, such as Amy’s, I reduced my LDL to normal levels.Take responsibility for your health.

I’ve always have had a high cholesterol even with watching my diet…my family has a natural high cholesterol. Many of them also have xanthomas, those bumps on the eyelids when the cholesterol is off the charts. While vacationing in the FL Keys, I found a store that had excellent fried chicken so we went overboard. Before I knew it I had the xanthomas I thought I wouldn’t get….I had two, one in the middle of my eye lid, the other in the corner but they were visible…and made worse with makeup….starting taking two of these a day and I’m not even finished with the bottle and the xanthomas are pretty much gone…just a tiny one in the corner…this is the only thing I did. In my area where I live we don’t have fried chicken that tastes that good so I”m off of it for awhile….even so I will continue to take these since it was easy and I had no side effects at all…will def buy again.
