Sooooo silky!! I’ve been using this everyday and it goes on smooth and absorbed nicely. The smell is sweet and tropical, I hate scented lotions but this is the first and only one I love. I had a rough patch of bumpy, dry skin and after a few days it was smoothed over and hydrated, a little really does go a long way. The packaging was tossed around a little bit causing a bit of a leak but I was able to scoop up what I could and toss the rest. The tub itself is tough. Not the sellers problem, my area has a careless delivery driver.

The scent is obviously not like Sol de Janeiro’s Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, but I find that it leaves my skin feeling the same. Not greasy but well moisturized. The scent the cream has is light and not overdone, making it quite lovely. I will buy this again and recommend to others.

Very nice lotion on its own. Bought it as I’ve heard it’s a dupe for Sol de Janerio 62. It is not. Quickly absorbs and has a minimally greasy feeling. Smells like Shea butter with a slight floral finish. Very nice scent on its own but I thought it would have more of that pistachio/musk scent to it.

The perfect dupe!
A few months ago I purchased the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream and instantly loved it. I was hesitant to spend the $50 on a jar of lotion but after I started using it, I figured it was worth the price. Until after a few weeks of using it after I was moisturizing after showering, it was at the end! Again, I had to purchase the refill size however, it was still $44. In total, I spent nearly $100 on roughly 6 weeks of lotion. And while it’s great, I just can’t justify the price. I looked for something similar and found Nurtrius Brazilian Body Butter Cream through others looking for a better replacement after they were tired of spending money too!Shipping was extremely quick – I received a 2 pack of the lotion within 24 hours and immediately opened it. The sizes are nearly the same as the SDJ cream, almost the same sturdy container and the scent is nearly identical with just a tiny bit of a lighter scent. What surprised me the most though was after using it, how soft it made my skin. In comparison to the SDJ, I’d say it works even better! I paid $22 in total for 2 jars the same size. The price point is amazing. If you’ve been on the fence about the SDJ lotion because of the price, I recommend giving this a try. Based on the amount and how long it will last, this particular body butter far exceeds most box store sizes. Well worth it!
