Less water the better.
These have sodium carbonate in them which does make them fizz and I only use them in 2oz to 4oz of water. I can drink a bottle of water on my own time so it doesn’t matter to me to shove it into my entire bottle of water and sip on it. The taste is more concentrated with less water. My whole point of using it is to get to the point of what it’s for and that’s energy. I don’t usually respond well to coffee. It makes me tired and I don’t want to drink enough tea to get the energy from it. I just want a quick source of energy and this form of energy works for my body. It may not work for everybody, but for me this is something that I’ve used and I can count on. They’re convenient and easy. You can travel with them, you take them to a friend’s house and just add to water. No concerns about what a local store may offer or what your friends may have available. I’ve done this numerous times because I know I can count on the energy source I get from these. If I’m really looking for a boost, I will combine 2 tablets in 4 oz. of water for the equivalent of 160 mg of Organic Green tea leaf extract (caffeine) and 204mg Organic Panax ginseng root extract.. opposed to the 80mg (caffeine) and 102mg (Panax) each tablet has. Some of the complaints are the taste but I’m one of those that if the purpose is met (energy) then I don’t care. To me the taste isn’t horrible. Hope this helps.

Clean Energy Drink Replacement
Please read! I used to drink energy drinks daily and have looked for so long for a healthy alternative to them. I found these Nuun energy tablets not really knowing what to expect, but surprisingly fell in love with them. I prefer 2 tablets in a 16oz water bottle instead of 1, but that’s just personal preference. The flavors are light, crisp, and honestly great. These have pretty much completely replaced energy drinks for me and I love that they don’t have any harmful ingredients or additives.

This 4 pack is good to last, as it gives you a variety of flavors to not get bored with. This is my favorite drop in tablet, as the sugar content is much lower than the leading brands and the flavor is a hint and not overwhelming.

If all you are looking for is electrolytes and caffeine, this might be right for you. It wasn’t right for me.FLAVOR:When mixed according to directions, the flavor us barely discernable (in fact, it would be better if there were no flavor. The caffeine shines through with a distinct bitter taste overshadowing the faint vaguely fruity taste advertised on the package.CONVENIENCE:Don’t add the tablets to cold water unless you are prepared to spend 4 or 5 minutes waiting for them to dissolve. I suggest you use a few ounces of hot water, then pour it over ice after the tablet dissolves. That seems to work better.OVERALLIn my own opinion, these are pretty average. there are a lot of very similar products in the market and there is nothing that stands out about these. On the other hand, I’m pretty sure many will find that these are perfect for their needs. They just weren’t all that interesting or impressive to me.

Nasty. Worst tasting water I’ve ever had.
I’ve been drinking various flavored waters for around a decade now. From powders to liquids, I had tried them all. So when I saw something in a tablet, I was interested. I ordered the energy pack as well as the immunity pack thinking this might be a game changer for my daily routine. [Cue ominous music]. Had I known how wrong I was… I normally use packets made for 16oz drinks which is what these tablets are for. I placed my tablet in my Yeti, added some ice and filtered water. Then I shook it up. Normally, that’s enough for my normal drink but I knew these were tablets and may take time to dissolve. So I let it sit for 30 minutes and shook again. So now we have the ideal situation: ice cold filtered water with a fully dissolved tablet.First warning sign: SmellI opened the lid on my yeti and was hit with a very chemical/chalky smell. I’ve smelled this before in drinks that were terrible, but I pressed on.Second warning sign: TasteFirst swig: BLEH. So there is no sweetness at all. Sure it may say “berry this” or “mango that”, but don’t be fooled. This version of flavor is like putting paint on a turd. Sure it’s now pretty, but you don’t want to put that in your mouth.Second to fourth swig: More bleh. I mean, people like this stuff? It’s almost like punishment. I’d rather take straight plain water.Fifth+ swig: OMG, just keep drinking this to get it over with. That’s all I can think of every time I put this junk in my mouth. It’s honestly the worst tasting drink I’ve had in the last five years. I’m not even going to bother with an Amazon return because this stuff needs to be buried deep in the earth, not returned for some other poor person to experience.
