One of my favorite skincare finds.
Just ordered my second bottle. I’m a Aveda grad and skincare fanatic. More money does not always mean better quality or better results. This green tea extract is mixed with glycerin. Glycerin is extremely hydrating and pulls moisture from the environment into the skin. Glycerin alone is a bad idea: it is sticky, unpleasant alone and it attracts water so strongly that if not diluted it can pull water from deeper layers of the skin to the surface which is not what you want. When mixed with water and green tea extract it is possibly the best moisturizer I have ever used. I’ve tried so many products both expensive and on the more affordable end and this is better than most high end products I’ve tried but at a fraction of the cost. Yes the product is a bit pricey up front but considering it lasts me 4 months of twice daily use…it is about 33 cents a day for my purposes and that is extremely cost effective.✅ Pros:If you like the “glass skin” effect or a “dewy” finish, this is an extremely cost effective way of achieving that effect. Used as the last step in my skincare routine it makes a smooth primer for makeup and requires only a few drops. The green tea extract has brightened my skin and given it a glow that I can’t achieve with any other product. My skin stays fully hydrated and dewy all day and wonderfully soft and smooth.I love that this is a liquid and not a cream. Creams do not last as long as this. My first bottle lasted 4 months of application both in the morning and evening. It is cost effective and lasts a long time. It can be added to other skincare products and it adds a lot of moisture. I add some to my toner and it kicks up the moisture a lot. I can refresh my makeup halfway through the day by using my toner with a little bit of this added. My skin has never felt this smooth in my life. The product is not sticky even though it contains glycerin. I use it for hands, face, neck, décolleté and any other areas that need some extra moisture. I did not buy this for my skin, I purchased it while going through a bout of hair loss and it helped calm my scalp down and reduced the hair loss. The hair loss stopped and I still had a huge amount of this product and tried it without dilution as a moisturizer and I am hooked.The ingredients are very simple yet the product packs a punch in terms of moisture and antioxidant content.❌Cons:While this absorbs it makes my skin incredibly shiny and a bit greasy looking for about 5 minutes. After that my skin looks and feels moisturized and velvety soft. So it takes a few minutes to fully absorb. I don’t mind this as I usually just go about doing other things while I wait for it to absorb fully. The cap is not the best for dispensing small amounts each day and a drop or two always runs down the side of the bottle resulting in a small puddle beneath the bottle. This could easily be fixed by just putting it in another bottle but I haven’t gotten around to doing that.This product contains two preservatives: Ethylhexylglycerin, and Phenoxyethanol. These preservatives are relatively mild and do not cause reproductive harm or increase the risk of cancer. Both preservatives score a 2 (meaning very low risk of harm) of 10 on the EWG skin deep website. Great website for checking ingredients btw. That being said some people can be allergic to these preservatives so do a small test behind your ear or on your wrist if concerned about sensitivity.I can think of nothing else that I dislike about this product.Overall the best moisturizer I’ve ever used. I have extremely sensitive skin and this has reduced that sensitivity to the point where I am even able to use ingredients that used to aggravate my skin conditions. It has calmed down my sensitivities and improved the health of my skin. I get lots of compliments about my skin. I recommend this product for any skin type. It has solid ingredients, safe preservatives and it definitely has improved my skin barrier as well as the overall health and appearance of my skin. This product can also be used for DIY making your own skincare products. I have added it to willow bark tea which I use regularly as an alternative to cleanser. It mixes well and I’ve had no problems. This is a unique product that could easily become a cult classic if more people knew about it.

Gentle and doesn’t smell.
I read a study where putting green tea on your face and using red light therapy reduces wrinkles by a very significant amount. It stimulates collagen production and gets deep under the skin with the red light. I’m trying to reduce chemicals from soaps, lotions, facial creams etc, so I bought this to use topically with my Kooga red light unit. I’ve only been doing it for a couple days and it will be a few weeks/months before I can say if it works but I can say that it doesn’t have a harsh smell and it is gentle and doesn’t make my skin sensitive, I use it straight on my face without mixing it with lotion. I plan to throw away all my face creams and just use this product along with my red light therapy unit.

It’s super moisturizing. It’s sticky, but dries down eventually and that doesn’t bother me. It plays well with my other skincare products. Overall, I recommend this. I use it with my red light therapy mask.

Lovely serum
Love this stuff. Purchased after purchasing the same company’s copper peptide. Haven’t seen any results with the copper but the formulation of this green tea is lovely. The glycerin formula has made it my daytime moisturizer for summer. It will make you glowy – and even sticky if you use too much. But just a couple drops and you will look refreshed. Texture is silky and THANK YOU for not being fragrances. Decent price.

This is much better than other generic green tea glycerin extracts I’ve bought. It’s a much thinner texture and feels more active as well. I’m using it in a DIY toner with mineral water. I like it! I did buy generic glycerin to add back in some of the humectant property. I’m not seeing miracles like some other ppl but it seems to be helping with overall redness
