I didn’t think it would work!

My 81 y/o Grandpa is on his third bottle of these and he says they really work. Neither of us can speak on the effects of bone density improvement because he hasn’t been tested, but he tells me he definitely feels an improved difference.

THESE PILLS SENT MY MOTHER TO THE HOSPITAL
DO NOT BUY THESE. PLEASE. My mother switched to these pills 1.5 months ago. She recently ended up in the hospital with severe Vitamin D toxicity, which is a very rare condition, and hypercalcemia (high calcium levels in her blood), which can lead to cardiac arrest and kidney damage. She was lucky that her doctor caught this when he did. Her bottle of supplements says they have 25 MILLIGRAMS of vitamin D per serving, as opposed to 25 MICROGRAMS. That is 1000 TIMES the recommended dose! Her doctor said there is no other explanation for her recent illness. They ruled everything else out during her 4 day hospital stay. Her kidneys will take a long time to get back to normal, if they ever do.Supplements are not regulated! Who knows what was / is in these pills. Please ask your doctor or someone who knows for a reputable brand of supplements if you must take them. All of the doctors we’ve spoken to have also said to get these nutrients from FOOD instead of supplements if possible. My mom has osteoporosis and needed a boost.PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE – BE CAREFUL!

INCOMPETENTLY MADE AND TOXIC!!
I am a registered dietitian. I saw the label photo from the other customer review, which clearly states that the vitamin D level is 25 milligrams, rather than micrograms, and is one thousand times higher than a typical dose. This is gross incompetence in formulation of this product, and dangerous. I have found such negligence in supplements to be very rare, but it shows the need for buying from trusted sources, with good knowledge or professional help. It also shows the need for COMPLETE disclosure of ingredients on theseproduct listings. Why was this listing not required to show ingredient amounts??
