I read reviews before purchasing an item and others said this pill was too big. I am used to minis but decided to try this anyway. They are bigger than the minis but are slender and easy to swallow, as some of the other reviewers said. I gave this a 5 on flavor but I had to laugh because I swallow it and as far as I can tell it has no flavor! I think this is a good thing😊

My calcium arrived, and I promptly opened the bottle, took out the recommended dosage, and began to chew – a MOST serious mistake!I don’t know why all of the reviews here talk about taste and texture. The lozenge shape made me wonder, but it only took a second to confirm that these tabs were never meant to be used in any other way than to be swallowed like any other non-chewable supplement.That being said, they really are smaller and much easier to get down than that terrible horse-pill size that most calcium supplements come in. If you want an easy-to-swallow pill, this is a definite best choice. If you are looking for one that you can chew, well, keep looking. This isn’t it.I rated this a five as the bottle itself doesn’t claim to be anything other than a smaller, easier-to-swallow supplement.

Great But Not Indispensable
I bought these and have been taking them in conjunction with Rainbow Light’s Advanced Nutritional System. While I love these, I am genuinely unsure if I will be repurchasing and here is why:The quality is wonderful (hence the automatic 4 stars right off the bat) however the product itself is not indispensable in such a way that you notice a difference (like the Advanced Nutritional System). It does deliver you your necessary calcium and vitamin D needs, however compared to potentially another cheaper food based calcium vitamin with added D which you might find, I can’t say that this specific product is superior.The packaging of the pills themselves was well executed and I didn’t have a single chipped or broken pill. The bottle was also easy open, no child proofing.Basically, these calcium tabs get the job done. They are in fact small. They don’t smell. They aren’t coated but shouldn’t bother your stomach. They are easy to take – just be advised that you will need to take 4 tabs to get your full serving. There isn’t a weird taste. There’s nothing particularly wrong with these but there is nothing to write home about either considering the wonderful health improvement (which I could physically feel) I have had from other Rainbow Light products.

Very happy with Rainbow Light’s calcium citrate. I have a problem taking magnesium and many calcium supplements contain it. This Rainbow Light product contains no magnesium and is easy to swallow so it works for me. I’ve been using it for several months now and am grateful for it.

I have been getting these for years because they were small and easier to swallow. Why else would you buy mini-tabs? Now some genius decided to make them larger and more difficult to swallow in order to add minute amounts of vegetables, which is completely absurd from a nutritional standpoint and eliminates the thing that made these particular supplements useful.

These are small pills. Not you normal big calcium pills.
These are tiny pills. You need to take more pills to get the same dose. Because they are smaller, they are easier to swallow. I cannot attest to their taste because I cannot taste them. And I do not have the equipment to attest to their absorbency.

I must like it a lot. It says I’ve bought it 16 times on Amazon. I’m subscribed to it. I gave my mother a bottle and am trying to get her on it. It’s got enough vitamin d in it where my doctor isn’t telling me I have a deficiency anymore. No need for ridiculous amounts of vitamin d, at least not long term. I think it’s great. Good price too.
