Absolutely loving this Batana Oil!
It’s so easy to use – not greasy at all! I love that it’s made with natural, organic ingredients and is free of alcohol, parabens, and sulfates. This organic batana oil paste is unrefined and comes all the way from Honduras, which adds to its charm. Right off the bat, I noticed that it’s non-greasy, which is a huge plus for me since I don’t like products that leave my hair feeling oily. It has a thick consistency, so a little goes a long way.My partner tried it out as well, and he’s also seeing some positive results. We both appreciate that it’s 100% organic, which makes using it feel good on so many levels.I’m really impressed! Perfume Scent but works
This banana oil arrived promptly. Upon opening the jar the perfume smell indicated this is not 100% batana oil. It does have a pleasant scent. The color is spot on for what it should be. The texture is smooth and melts in your hands as it should. I did give it a try as a prepoo and my hair is so soft. So I’m giving a four out of five given that the perfume scent which is pleasant but also indicates that it is not 100% pure. The cost I believe is fair for the all that you receive and the results.

[9/21/25 review of AUOOR Raw Batana Oil for Hair Growth, 100% Organic Batana Oil Paste – Unrefined when listed at $16.99]I make personal care products & have been curious to work batana oil into a hair formulation. The first thing I noticed was how pleasant it smells. Many raw butters & oils don’t smell all that fantastic in their base form, so the slightly sweet, slightly fruity aroma of the batana oil is nice & will likely add something special to the final scent of my formulas. The oil is firm – much more so than standard coconut oil (for example). It actually feels like more of a butter than an oil. Upon application, it’s after touch is somewhere between slippery & dry. It’s not overly greasy & not at all sticky. (In the picture with my fingers, I have applied the batana oil to my forefinger. As you can see, it’s light enough to be invisible.) Overall, I’m happy with the batana oil so far & will update if I run into any problems getting it work well in formulations.Comparables (i.e., similar materials, size, quantity) on Amazon are about $25, making this an excellent value for the money.

Rich Texture
This batana oil is very thick and concentrated, which at first felt a bit dense to work with, but once I rubbed it between my hands to warm it up, it softened nicely and became easier to apply. I used it by massaging into my scalp first, then slowly working it through to the ends. It spreads well and feels nourishing without being greasy or sticky once absorbed.The scent is mild and natural, and I appreciate that it’s made with unrefined ingredients. However, I do wish it came in a glass jar instead of plastic. My Mind Was Blown Away By The Results
The packaged came in well packaged with a piece of foil seal. The texture is thick with some sandy feel when you first touch it. However, once you rub it between your palms it turns into liquid oil which make it easy to rub all over your hair and scalp. The scent is very pleasant and mild. The smell of it reminds me of the time when I was walking into a fancy spa. I used it on my dry hair and covered it with a waterproof shower cap. I got sidetracked and left it on for 3 hours, more time than I planned to but I am glad I did it. I shampooed it off twice and it left with well moisturized, great volume hair. Then I blow dried my hair. My mind was blown away by the result. My hair was usually dry and fuzz after a blow dry but this product makes me feel girlie and beautiful again. I don’t usually attach pictures to my reviews but this product really makes me want you to see how shinny my hair is. My husband loves the way my hair feels so much. He kept touching it..lol Highly recommended.
