Fragrance free, but has an odd cooling sensation on the skin.
• Would I get it again or recommend it and why:-For myself, no due to the relatively high price per ounce and the small size.-I also disliked the cooling sensation on the skin, it felt like I had used a peppermint or menthol product. There was no mint or menthol in it though.-For others, if you’re okay with the higher price and the cooling sensation (again, no peppermint or menthol in it, I’m not sure what in it does this) it is a nice fragrance-free under-eye cream.• Brand, style and version:-Brand: Rejuvaskin-Version: Retinoid Eye Cream with Tri-RetinX Complex• Size:-0.7 oz-20 ml• Quality and Value:-The value is fair, but not great, due to the small size and the higher price.• Container:-It’s in an opaque non see-through container to protect the ingredients from light degradation.-The container protects well from air and bacteria.-It is safety sealed for protection and hygiene.-It’s a tube with a press down dispenser pump with a clear lid cap cover.-Note that the pump has to be pressed down several times to be primed before it will dispense.-1 pump is all you need to treat both under eye areas (divided to 1/2 under each eye, not 1 pump under each eye, but 1 pump total)-The container does not over dispense and waste product.• Formula:-It’s a tan opaque lotion that’s on the lighter side of heavy. I’d call it heavy but a lighter heavy formula.• Scent:-No added perfumes, fragrances, essential oils or fragrant plant extracts.-I could detect the faintest, mild natural scent from the ingredients but it was faint and went away immediately.-I would consider it safe for those sensitive to scents.• Application and Use:-A little goes a long way, one pump will treat both of your under eye areas well.-It spread well over the skin and left it well moisturized.-It’s likely better as a bedtime cream vs under makeup as it’s on the heavier side moisture wise.• Sensitive skin:-I would consider this sensitive skin friendly.-I had no issues on my sensitive skin with burning, stinging, itching, redness or irritation during or delayed after use.-However, I did find it to have a cooling sensation I disliked, like mint or menthol. However it was not irritating.• Skin Types:-Normal-Dry-Sensitive-It may be a bit too heavy weight moisture wise for those with oily skin.• Skin issues and concerns it addresses:-Anti-aging-Dryness• Body Areas:-Under-eye area• Ingredients:Water, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Bakuchiol, Hydroxipiiniacolone Retinoate, Crithmum Maritimum Extract, Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Fruit Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Lens Esculenta (Lentil) Fruit Extract, Bioflavanoids, Glycoproteins, Fructooligosaccharides, Phytic Acide, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Leaf/Seed Extract, Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Fruit Extract, Adansonia Digitata Fruit Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Dimethicone, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba (Guar) Gum, Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Hydroxide• Standout Ingredients:-Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate-Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E• Ingredients checked on both Paula Begoun’s and Incidecoder’s skincare ingredient encyclopedias:-I checked the ingredients listed in both encyclopedias and found no problematic ingredients. There were no common allergens, fragrances, essential oils or irritating alcohols. The ingredients were listed as generally favorable and good for the skin.• Major Ingredients by function:-Antioxidant: Bakuchiol, Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Fruit Extract, Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)-Cell-communicating ingredient: Bakuchiol, Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate-Skin brightening: Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract-Skin-identical ingredient: Glycerin, Sodium PCA-Soothing: Bioflavonoids, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Fruit Extract-Emollient: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Fruit Extract, Adansonia Digitata Fruit Extract, Dimethicone-Moisturizer/humectant: Glycerin, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Lens Esculenta (Lentil) Fruit Extract, Fructooligosaccharides, Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Fruit Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA• Allergens:-No gluten, wheat or common allergens are listed on the container or ingredients listing.-There are extracts from coffee, apple, lentil, avocado and watermelon.• Pros:-It’s in an opaque non see-through container to protect the ingredients from light degradation.-No common allergens, gluten or wheat listed on the label. (However it does has as listed above some fruit and food extracts.-No common irritants such as irritating alcohols, essential oils or irritating plant extracts.-Fragrance-free with no added perfumes, fragrances, essential oils or fragrant plant oils.-Gentle, non irritating-even with the cooling sensation.-Very good ingredient listing.-On the lighter end of heavy moisturizing level.-The container was safety sealed.• Cons:-The ingredients were not printed on the container but were on the outer carton. I had to clip them off and attach them to the container with a clear hair elastic.-The value is fair for the very small size, it’s fairly expensive.-While it did not irritate, it had a cooling sensation like mint or menthol on the skin that I personally did not enjoy. Some people will, some people won’t. (There was no mint or menthol in it though.)• Impression:-It’s well formulated, well packaged and has a good ingredient listing.-However, it has a high cost per ounce for the small size, and isn’t the best value.-It is gentle, fragrance-free and free of irritants.-But it does (without mint or menthol, but feels like them, but it doesn’t have them) have a cooling sensation on the skin not everyone will like. Personally I disliked the sensation.

A great product even for sensitive skin!
I’m really excited by this retinoid cream!!!!!!I have very sensitive skin that is starting to thin around my eyes. I’ve tried other eye creams that are too greasy; I’ve tried retinoids that are too rough: somehow, this cream from Rejuvaskin is lightweight and gentle! I’ve been using every night after cleaning and have found zero irritation in either my skin or my eyes (you know how some eye creams migrate into the eyes, ouch!).I love the consistency of the product, as it’s moist enough to smooth over the skin thoroughly and doesn’t dry too fast, allowing you to distribute the product evenly as you apply it. I need just a small drop—smaller than a pea—for both eyes, so I know it’ll last a while which is a great value.I even like the packaging! The pump actually *works correctly* and with a lot of control so you don’t waste product with an accidental over-pump! The tube itself has a matte texture which is pleasant to hold and provides a nice grip.I definitely recommend this cream and the area around my eyes already feels moister and more plump in just one week.A great product even for sensitive skin!

Did not deliver
After giving this eye cream a 30 day trial period. I will have to say, there was no noted difference in fine lines, under eye bags or shadowing around my eyes. If anything, this cream was not as moisturizing as some other retinoid creams I have used prior. Save your money.

Like the way it feels, doesn’t give immediate tightening. Unsure of retinoid strength
I like the feel of this eye cream. It takes awhile to absorb into my skin so I need to put it on well in advance of putting eye makeup on. One thing it doesn’t do that some other eye creams do, is give an immediate tightening to my undereye area. I know this is just a temporary thing, but if I’m going somewhere I like to start with a nice unbaggy undereye. The main reason I got this was because it was listed as having retinoids. I am at the age where I think I need to move up to retinol/retinoid products but am not ready to go the prescription route yet. I’m just not sure how much retinoid this eye cream actually has because there are no warnings about skin irritation, starting slow & working up gradually to daily use that I see on some drug store retinol products. And I haven’t noticed any under eye sensitivity/irritation (which is probably good).I’m using this under one eye so I can see if there is a difference, but haven’t noticed anything yet.

Lightweight cream, not oily, a bit pricey
I have to say, I’ve been using this cream at night for the past 2 weeks, and I really like it.There is an oat-like scent to it that I can appreciated. I don’t like strong scents associated with eye creams, that would make my eyes water and burn. It is a cross between a cream and a lotion. I wasn’t sure about this initially because creams usually mean thick and oily, which this is not. It soaks in well. I do wash my face first and leave my face a bit damp though – force of habit.I can’t say I feel 10 years younger, but it definitely doesn’t hurt anything. Combating the under eye bags is useless until my college courses are done, I’m just hoping for now that I can look semi-normal.I did take a star off for the price though. While a little goes a long way, I’m not sure I would pay more than $30-$35. Not because of the quality of the product, just because unless I am buying a beauty product that is reviewed to make miracles happen….that’s my top range.
