It works as advertised. We were at Gulf Shores, AL for a week, and this allowed us to enjoy the water. Before ordering the sunscreen, we couldn’t be in the water for more than 5 minutes without getting stung by jellyfish. After purchasing and applying this sunscreen, we were able to swim sting free (except for areas of our bodies we missed😬) for about 30 minutes – which is the time frame this sunscreen recommends for reapplying. We noticed that we started feeling the stings close to that 30 minute time frame. There is a 50spf that says it should last longer between applications, but this worked for what we needed. I highly recommend this product if you know you’re going to be swimming in an area known to have jellyfish in the water.

Great sunscreen! Needed a few to keep in my car, the house and at work and this was the best trio pack! Doesn’t leave any white residue nor does it have a nasty smell like other sunscreens! Definitely recommend.

Really liked how this went on, not too thick to apply like some mineral sunscreens and didn’t leave a white cast. I felt good about swimming in the ocean knowing that I wasn’t harming sea life.

Water rolls right off my skin. “Friend of the Sea” certification expired this month.
I have so far only tested this product on my hand. 30 is my go-to number for spf products. This one appealed to me because it is mineral based without leaving a white zinc cast on skin. It is just about unscented and water literally rolled off my hand after I applied it. It claims to not only be “reef safe” for ocean life, but also to repel a few species of jellyfish. I had never heard of “Friend of the Sea” certification, so I looked it up to read more and learned that it is mostly used in the the fishing industry, but then looked up this company “Nidaria Technologies” and found that their certification expired earlier this month. Hopefully they will be able to renew it and keep this product honest.

Worked great all summer long. It is a tiny bottle but it’s ocean safe and no one got burnt. I call that a win.

The sunscreen really protects you from sunburn. I used it while at the beaches in Hawaii. Never got sunburned. The only thing negative was that it made my dry skin drier because of the zinc oxide. I would still buy it again anyway!
