I think it works
First of all, I guess everyone has a different sense of smell but I think it smells like an invigorating spa product – herbal and invigorating. Not an overpowering scent at all unless you’re snorting it directly from the bottle up your nose. I sometimes apply it in the day and my hair just looks like it has some pomade in it.I will be transparent and say that I started this serum and taking finasteride about the same time: 9 months ago. But I intend to keep using both because my hair is looking fuller and healthier now. The studies I’ve read about saw palmetto are pretty positive and I feel like it’s also helping my hair look more shiny and full. My issues are more alopecia areata than male pattern baldness. I can still see the circular patch of alopecia on my scalp but also had some hair shedding when I started finasteride, which is normal. Now I can see some regrowth and just a more robust appearance of my hair coming back. I attribute it to this serum and the medication.

My first time ever writing a review and it’s for good reason. I was looking for the most natural way to slow my MPB (Male pattern baldness) and came across Saw Palmetto. I didn’t want to take it orally and block my total production of dht or suffer from any side effects. So I looked for oils to apply directly and found this. The night after the first use, I noticed my hair standing up and less relaxed. I knew it made a difference. So I proceeded to use it every other night before bed, applying it directly to the affected area. After a week, my hair looked thicker, stronger and getting longer. New hair strands are appearing. Its only been two weeks. I think the trick is to catch it early before dht permanently stops production of hair. But be aware, it takes some dedication. Miss application for too many days and you’ll start thinning again. definitely recommend to anybody. Even women. This product has so many other beneficial, natural products in it besides saw palmetto. All crucial for hair growth.

Organic Saw Palmetto Oil Serum: Making Hair Look Great!
I’ve been using this product about a month now, 3 drops, rubbed in my palms and massaged into my hair following showers/washes. It gives a shine to my hair, makes it more controllable & gives a more well-groomed appearance. As for thickening my hair? I’ve not noticed that as a result just yet, but think, realistically, it’d be taking more than one month to correct thinning hair and/or hair loss. I still get strands of hair that come out as I brush it following a shower or shampoo, but perhaps not as much as usual. Since my hair is thin & find, the Saw Palmetto Oil Serum does help it to stay in place, gives a lustre to it, and for that I am well pleased. The fragrance is not great, but the product is what it is, a natural product, and the fragrance is not noticeable once it’s applied. It’s a product I will continue to buy, for I do enjoy the way my hair shines and stays in place once it’s applied, and I still entertain hopes that it will encourage more hair to grow, will give me a fuller head of hair. Would I recommend the oil serum? At this point, absolutely!

Bait and Switch?
When I initially purchased this item, I received the scented version with the Peppermint Oil. LOVED it. It also seemed like – and this is the most important part – that it helped with reducing the shedding of hair. After the initial shipment, I received the unscented version. I was a little bummed. There does not seem to be a choice when it comes to opting for scented or unscented. Turns out, my SO preferred the unscented one so as long as it worked…that was what was important. I am not sure if it is because it does not contain the Peppermint Oil or if there entire unscented Serum is a different formula, but the shedding of hair has gone up now and not down. BOO!The initial formula that was scented worked like a charm. Whatever this new version is does not seem to work.

Working great so far!
I’ve tried so many things for hair thinning and shedding throughout the years. I’ve tried minoxidil but had no significant results after months of use. I’ve changed my diet, tried every natural oil I could find, and many different conditioners and treatments. This is the first product I’ve used that gives me hope. I just started using this product a few days ago and I already notice at least a 75 percent reduction in shedding. The hairs at the crown of my head are already feeling thicker and I had a long standing sore sensation at the crown of my head that is starting to subside. When I saw how little my hair shed after a wash I was honestly in shock. I deep condition every week and oil every other day (with heat) but that had NO effect whatsoever on my massive shedding. This stuff is magic! I’m excited about the progress I’ll see in a few weeks/months.

I haven’t been using this long enough to see regrowth, but I am loosing significantly less hair in the shower!I’m 32, female with an active & heathy lifestyle, but after a series of events (failed pregnancy, wisdom tooth extraction) my hormones took a turn for the worse and my hair started to thin all over (more so in the temple areas). I’ve been using this for about a month, just a few drops massaged into my scalp at night, and my excess shedding has stopped. I also take a high quality multivitamin, but have been doing so for a long time and it didn’t seem to affect the loss of hair.I will continue to use this serum and I will report back in a few months (with pictures, too). So far, I definitely recommend.
