Great body soap, I highly recommend
I don’t know why I see so many reviews about using this bar on your face. This is NOT a facial cleanser. Go and get a cleanser for your face, and use a separate exfoliant like Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant for your face if that’s the kind of thing you’re looking for. Again, DO NOT USE THIS ON YOUR FACE. I cannot say that enough. The exfoliant is much too harsh for the soft, exposed skin on your face. My partner is an esthetician and was mortified to see how many people were buying this for facial use.For my body, this soap is absolutely perfect. I suffer from ingrown hairs often, and the coffee ground exfoliant in this soap removes my dead skin and frees those ingrown hairs quite effectively. My skin is now softer and more evenly toned (I am black, if that matters to you), and I have much fewer dark spots. The soap lasts a decently long period of time too, so the cost per use evens out. All in all, this soap is great, and I could not recommend it more.

Super Soft Skin w/ a Surprise Added Bonus!
I used this on both my face and hands and I am really impressed with the results! Not only does my skin feel so smooth and soft, but I noticed that my usually oily skin, seemed to stay oil free the entire day, even after applying my makeup (usually I have to maintain my makeup throughout the day with powder). The product claims to be unscented, however I did smell an unusual odor while using it on my face. The thing that surprised me the most was that it didn’t make much of a lather when ran under water and rubbed between my hands, but what it did produce was perfect for making my skin feel soft and luscious. I love that this product is made with all natural ingredients and can feel the difference on my skin between this and other soap brands that fill their products with chemicals that dry and damage skin. The biggest surprise was that after using it on my hands I noticed my ring was SO sparkly! I usually use a ring cleaner but this soap did the trick! Highly recommend!

Great facial saop
The first time I bought this was a couple of years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. After I use it it makes my skin feel super clean without drying the skin. It exfoliates your skin and makes it smoother and softer without being harsh. I also like the fact there is no scent which for me means no drying feel. When I use my other soap I can tell a huge difference in the feel. One feels.less clean and this soap feels really clean. Give it a go for the price. Oh, it lasts a really long time. I use it almost every day and may go through two or three bars a year.

Not to strong scented
Giovanni just continued our favorite charcoal soap, so this was our replacement after several tries both different brands. I’m not a huge fan of the grit but my partner likes it, and we’re both fans of the fact that it doesn’t have too strong of a smell. Some of the other brands we bought were very heavily perfumed, so we came back to this one. Cleans well, rinse is off easily, doesn’t dry you off too much or irritate the skin.

Works fairly well
I use this for ingrown hair on my legs. I find that it is most abrasive if I wet it a little and don’t get it all full of lather. If that is too much abrasion, then allow it to lather up a bit. You need to be careful, as it can make the floor of the shower tub a bit slippery. It works fair for me insofar as getting rid of the bumps and ingrown hair. I am still looking for a better solution. But, for now this is the best I have come across. I do like to exfoliate my feet with this soap.

I am a beautiful brown-skinned queen but I do use skin lightening agents. I noticed that a topical cream I used had thinned my skin, siphoned the moisture from it and significantly reduced my skin’s elasticity. I knew I needed help & fast. So boom! I type in the amazon search “skin tightening soap” & this baby pops up. Overnight shipping & hella affordable. Whatttttt. So of course after checking the reviews I purchased last night & when I woke up it was at my door step. I showered this morning AND this evening (I’m typing this fresh out of the shower) my skin feels AMAZINGGG. The soap also made it easier for me to rub my oils in and has upgraded my shower experience. I don’t play about my skin & my expectations have been exceeded! Thank you Seaweed Bath Co. I thought this might be overrated…NOPE.
Ok, this was my first time using this today and I loved it! First of all, usually when you get those exfoliating soap BARS, they don’t do any real exfoliating. Y’all know what I mean. But I tend to have clogged pores and originally got this for the cellulite side of the marketing-lol. I was very pleased at how gritty this bar was. This ain’t no pretty little thing you set on the side of you shower and just use to lather. This sucker goes to town! I have an exfoliating sponge that I use on my arms and legs and under the bosom, (y’all big-boobied girls know) but YOU GUYS…I discovered the “grit power” on this soap and was like, screw this, I’m gonna just use the bar! Worked WAY BETTER than the exfoliating sponge that is also supposed to help with cellulite. Have I seen a difference in cellulite? No. Just my first day but I will keep you updated. ALSO, if you ladies OR MEN, (I know y’all get cellulite too) if you want a little extra help to smooth those legs and bootay, olive oil and either a rolling pin or do like I did and get, I kid you not, one of those steel pipes for like four dollars and the rolling pin you can obviously roll UP THE LEG but if you choose the pipe, (super cheap and a weapon) the oil does the work for you just massage in long upward strokes.

This was my first time trying this soap and I absolutely love it. I didn’t realize it also comes in body wash which is what I prefer so when needed I will order the body wash and, hopefully I love it just as much. I’m really happy I found this product lineup and highly recommend it

Excellent, took other reviewers advice and bought a separate covered soap holder for this, otherwise it would disintegrate. After using this skin feels squeaky clean, fresh and smooth. No other soap has ever made me feel sooo clean. Recommend highly.
