I purchased this shampoo on a whim. I am very glad that I did. I am a Black woman, and only used certain shampoos. I was pressed for time and really needed something quickly. After a quick search, I found this. I keep my hair cut very short. This shampoo is not oily. I like how it leaves my hair feeling very clean. The scent isn’t over powering. I have Eczema and this shampoo doesn’t cause any problems for my skin. It doesn’t dry me out. A little goes a long way. I put this in my suitcase after opening it, and I didn’t have any issues with spillage. I also brought this with my when I moved, still no spillage issues. When I run out, I will purchase this again.

I love the smell of this shampoo, and it works great on my curly hair. I use it once or twice per week since it can be heavier on my hair type, but still, it does a great job that no other shampoo has done for me! My hair is soft, the curls revive, and my hair is moisturized.

I was using Crew Daily Moisturizing Shampoo before this, but honestly? It was turning my scalp into a snow globe. I’ve got thick wavy/curly hair, and it felt like it was just getting more dried out every time I used it.Picked up this SheaMoisture shampoo hoping to breathe some life back into my hair—and so far, it’s doing great. Smells amazing, lathers up nice, and doesn’t leave my scalp feeling stripped or itchy.Only downside: the seal. First time I used it in the shower, the foil seal got sucked into the cap. No way to get it out with wet hands, so I had to pour the shampoo out the side and later dig the thing out with a knife just to use the pop top.Aside from that little fiasco, it’s a big step up from what I was using. Hair feels healthier already—hopefully the dandruff days are behind me.

I LOVE this shampoo ! The smell is rediculously yummy ! This shapoo lathers so well , leaves hair feeling clean and healthy , not like other shampoos that strips hair of moisture and dried out. Im hooked after the first time ! My hair damages easily , this product give shine and some weight – but not greasy at all + I’m going to stock up on this one ! I can recommend this for hair that is dry , brittle and dull , this product really helps !

This stuff has worked wonders for my hair. I’ve been using it for a little over a year and my hair (dark, straight, very dense,) is long, silky, buoyant and full of volume. I used to struggle with dryness and breakage, but this combined with better hair care and protective practices have turned that around for me. It also takes four or five days before my hair starts looking greasy after I wash, compared to one or two for most big name products.My hair care practices:- Shampoo just the roots, take extra time and product to get into the roots- Rinse- Heap conditioner all throughout roots and hair- Leave on for a few minutes or rinse, then follow up with a hair mask I can rinse off later- Use a boar’s hair brush once or twice a day, working from the roots down- Detangle with fingers only, being careful not to yank hair- Sleeping with smoother pillowcases (I use bamboo viscose)- Sleeping with hair in a ponytail, bun or braid- No hot air or heat irons- Pat dry with a towel, gently twist up or wear down until dry (sometimes I put it up before it dries, but I probably shouldn’t)- When I put my hair up, I use a large claw or a satin ponytail holder, sometimes bobby pins- I have a few blonde streaks that do seem to break a bit more easily, but they almost match the healthiness of the untreated hair – a far cry from how frazzled the blonde would get in previous periods of my life.I’m still having issues with scalp flakiness and itchiness if I don’t wash my hair for a few days, but this has been an awesome transformation for me so far.The ingredients are all neutral to super healthy for you. There were only a couple I had questions about:- Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein Pg-Propyl Silanetriol. Couldn’t find a lot of information about this one, but no indication so far it causes any problems.- Fragrance: This is a catch-all label for lots of ingredients that carry a smell, which means we don’t have any information about if the stuff in this scent might be potentially harmful.Overall, I’m not a big fan of including fragrance just to add smell – if it smells nice on its own, that’s a different conversation, but it sometimes does harm to include it. Other than that, I’m really happy with and trust what’s going on my hair from this product.

This product is perfect for all type 4 hair textures. If you have not already got this in your bathroom then it is definitely worth a try.This is the only product which actually feels, looks and smells like it has real Jamaican black castor oil as part of the ingredients. The blend of ingredients is very well complimented. I usually rinse and repeat three times with other shampoos but for this one, I could easily get away with two shampoos. It foams up on the first wash and lifts up any dirt in your hair very quickly. The peppermint leaves your hair feeling refreshed and the scalp completely renewed. I think this is one of those products that has helped my hair to grow in a short amount of time. When your scalp is properly cleansed it helps other products to work better and this shampoo definitely gives the scalp a deep clean!The portion size is great as well, the runny consistency means that you only need to use a little so this usually lasts me about 6 months for a woman with thick hair washing every two/three weeks.
