Leaves hair soft but I don’t love the scent
This oil is easy to apply and use and doesn’t leave any sort of residue after washing it out like normal. I apply about an hour before I shower and then shampoo and condition as normal. It leaves my hair very soft and shiny without weighing it down, which I love. I do not love the smell however. Luckily it doesn’t linger very much after washing it out so I can really only smell it when it’s still in my hair before washing it out. I use this about every other week and that seems to be plenty for my needs.

Seem To Work
I have tried this SILKTAGE Repair and Rejuvenate Pre-Wash Scalp Oil a few times. Doesn’t really specify how much to use and I didn’t want to over do it, so I used about the size of a half-dollar and massaged into my scalp as directed. It says to leave on for hours or overnight but I wasn’t trusting enough and did it about 15 minutes before my shower. I have very baby fine hair, became that way after having kids. I was afraid it might weigh my hair down maybe, but after use, and washing and conditioning my hair like normal, my hair felt soft and my scalp felt very conditioned.Seemed to work good, but with fine hair, I don’t think I will want to use it everyday, more like once or twice a month. The smell, I really didn’t care for, glad I could wash it out with shampoo and conditioner. You can definitely tell after using it the first time.I believe the price is decent for this. Probably would be wonderful for someone who has very dry scalp or dandruff. Also, might be good for someone with very dry hair. I do recommend it for giving yourself a nice scalp conditioning.

Not sure, but it helps frizz
This probably works, but I’ve only used it once so far…and I probably won’t use it as often as you’re supposed to because I don’t particularly like the smell. It’s not a bad smell, but it reminds me of an organic bug spray we used to use.I probably used too much anyway, I just kept rubbing more and more into my scalp, thinking that it needed a really good coating (it doesn’t seem to specify how much you ought to use). Then I let it sit for a couple of hours (felt a tiny bit tingly which maybe meant it was working?). Then I washed it out, doing my double wash with shampoo like I normally do. My hair wasn’t as poofy as it usually is after drying, I think the oil really tamed it down, so if you have very frizzy hair, this should help, though personally I prefer some ‘poof’ to mine.Anyway, I might use this as a once a month thing, just in case it actually does something to help unclog hair follicles.

Moisturizing
This pre-wash scalp oil helps moisturize the scalp and helps repair dry hair. Simply apply it to your scalp with your hands or an applicator and massage it in. Leave it in your hair for a couple of hours and wash it out with shampoo. Condition as usual.This is a small 3.4 fl oz size bottle, which is smaller than what the images make it look like.

My scalp felt very clean and refreshed after using this. I used this before my shower and washing my hair. I have really bad dry scalp and use head and shoulders dandruff shampoo. This really helped with my itching.
