OK, for what it is.
I’ve had this for about a month now. Let me compare this with Spirulina and others that I have had.The whole trick with these is that you must cover up the taste and smell to make them drinkable. The tablets are ok because they are coated and you swallow them straight away but the powder form has a smell of a fish market with a not too pleasant taste. You can hide the taste with a packet of sweetener then it’s drinkable but you must mix it with something else to cover up the fish smell. So, it is up to you to find what works for you. It’s normal to have green poop after you start taking chlorella and/or spirulina.YAEYAMA POWDER dissolves easily but will settle to the bottom of the cup rather quickly.YAEYAMA TABLETS are small (8mm) so you can swallow them without too much trouble. This is a good choice if you don’t want to mess with the powdered stuff. These are better if not chewed.NOW CHLORELLA TABLETS are oblong and rather large. I like these because they have a rather nutty flavor to them. I will sit and slowly chew them while watching TV or something.SPIRULINA PACIFICA POWDER is hard to dissolve. I had to use very warm (not hot) water to get it to dissolve. I tried using a blender but that did not work out very well.

tastes like quality
This is very good quality Chlorella. It is great for supporting detoxification of the body especially from certain heavy metals. One time I had a good experience buying the powder from Now Foods, but the second time, it tasted like it was grown from bovine feces, which I BELIEVE is the case. This product is as tasty as Health Force Chlorella but less expensive. It tastes like asparagus algae. It may take some getting used to for some people, but it is a better quality chlorella. It’s very high in iron as well. I mix this with Nutrex Spirulina in a shaker bottle and drink it plain with just some water. The two genuinely have a good flavor and it is so nutritious.

The best I’ve tried recently
In my experience which is about 20 years this particular product is the only one that I’ve tried that is at all palatable. Years ago meaning 20 or so. Corella algae was delicious. That time has been gone for a long time however this brand is the closest I found to very palatable. The last brand I was using made me gag. I won’t spend any more of my valuable time answering a bunch of questions that I deem irrelevant. given the information I’ve already provided. I will not leave a photo.

green and healthy, really a good pick me up
This is one product that I keep using. It is healthy and green which really says alot. Green is one of the best veggie types a person can have in their diet plan. I add this chlorella to my daily green drink to enhance the drink more. I have taken this in pill form but find it works just as well as an additional to my daily greens drink. It is power packed for nutrition and a great enhancer to one’s health. It is also cheaper to buy it in powder form and then fill one’s own pills if such be the case or as I do, just add it to the daily green drink.

Nice product.
I very much appreicate that it comes in a nice plastic container good for storage. However, the container is not as pictured. it is taller and narrower, which makes it harder to get out the product as the quantity inside gets lower. They should package as it is shown or change the photo. Other than that it is a 5 of 5.

Feels Good So Far
This stuff has been pretty good to me so far. I take 1tsp and mix it with 1tsp of spirulina in 8oz of water. So far, I’ve noticed brighter, softer skin, increase in stool volume, and increase in oxygen flow. That last effect sounds weird, but what I noticed is after taking the mixture I’m able to breathe in more air as if my lung capacity increased or something. I read on Livestrong I think that the chlorophyll in foods such as chlorella increases your blood’s oxygen carrying capacity by stimulating red blood cell production. That means more oxygen for your tissues and cells. The sensation I get is of someone who just had their sinuses flushed out completely. It feels refreshing. I didn’t have this extra effect with the spirulina alone so it has to be the higher dose of chlorophyll from the chlorella. Either way, I enjoy taking both since they each have a noticeably different nutrient profile.

Made me violently ill.
Emphasis on violent. I have NEVER been so sick. The first time I put some of this in my breakfast shake I went to work and ate some questionable turkey. When I got sick I thought it was the turkey. It was pretty bad. But nothing like the second time. Several months later I added just a half serving to my shake and went to work. The sweats started and I knew what was coming. I couldn’t leave the office for hours, finally made it to my car and was sick four more times. Four more times on my 25-minute drive home. Once home my entire body was rejecting its contents. I lost 7 pounds in six hours. The vomiting was so violent that the soft palate in the back of my mouth was sore for a week and a half to two weeks. I’ve been through a lot in my life, but nothing like this.

Great for a few weeks until I became violently ill from it.
I started using this product about a month ago. I started with 1 gram then 2 then worked my way up to 3 grams. After about 3 weeks, my body totally rejected it. After some research, turns out his is a pretty common problem. So if you’re new to this, I recommend buying the smaller container.
