Rare and Underrated ‘Body Shop’ Scent
I got this body butter as a gift for my mother. Even though there are cheaper options from ‘The Body Shop,’ such as the Shea scent, I decided to get this one because it truly is my mother’s favorite. She loves how thick it is – highly moisturizing for us people whose skin needs more hydration. The scent is also mild enough to be tolerable for sensitive noses, but luxurious enough to satisfy those who like scented lotion. This body butter definitely reminds me of someone who is classy, mature, and has great taste. This is also the large size, in case you were wondering, so it will last a while even if you’re using it to cover your entire body every time. It usually lasts my mom half a year. The Argan scent is harder to find nowadays than in the past, I consider it a semi-rare find, so I would snatch it up when you see it. My mom’s going to LOVE it!

Tree hut had a body butter that was like this. They discontinued and went to a whipped body butter, which is basically a lotion in a jar. I had used it for decades before they stopped making it. I have been searching for years for something similar. This is it! I Love it! The smell, the consistency! It’s perfect! I will definitely be trying other scents!

Yes, It’s a *Real* Body Shop Product
A lot of people have been reviewing the Body Shop body butters on here recently to say they’re fake because the formula is different from what they’re used to. These are *NOT* fake. The Body Shop has CHANGED their body butter formula recently. You can read about it on their site in the body butter section.That being said, yes, this formula is definitely not as easily spreadable. It is something you need to warm in your hands a bit before spreading. A lot of more natural, heavy moisturizers are like this. Natural shea moisturizers made mainly of 100% shea butter are *exactly* like this. It’s very moisturizing and non-greasy. The only big problem I had is that I was expecting the Argan scent to smell like their Argan soap bars, but it really doesn’t. It smells more like a slightly sweeter, natural shea scent. Still works for me, but a bit bummed as their Argan soap is my most favorite scent in their shop. However, I do like a natural shea scent, so not a real loss.The 6oz size also lasts a pretty long time. Quality product.
