Favorite body moisturizer!
I’ve used the Body Shop coconut body butter for over ten years, and I couldn’t be happier that I found this product. It hydrates and protects without feeling greasy. The scent is not overpowering, and a little goes a long way. I’m only sorry to hear that The Body Shop is going out of business and will no longer sell a product I have grown to love!

Exactly what I was looking for
This is perfect to put on anytime, but i like to put it on right after a shower. It’s very moisturizing and has a nice consistency- not too thick or too thin. My skin feels soft and I don’t find myself having to constantly reapply to avoid dry skin. The scent is wonderful and lasts for a while. It’s not overpowering and it goes well with the perfume I have, so I can layer different scents.

I remember using this product years ago when I wasn’t concerned about what types of chemicals I was putting on my body. These days I’m making most all of my personal care products myself so I can control what is going into them… I came across a recipe that supposedly mimics the texture of this body butter, so I bought one to refresh my memory and see if it’s something I’d like to make. It’s sooooo nice! It’s rich and luxurious, it moisturizes very well without leaving a greasy feeling and the texture reminds me of a cross between softened butter and coconut oil – not so stiff you can’t apply it easily, but also solid enough that it needs to be in a tub rather than a regular lotion bottle. The coconut fragrance is pleasant. More of a natural coconut smell, rather than the super sweet/noticeably artificial ones I usually come across. The ingredients in this body butter are better than most, and Amazon has a great price on this of course… If you’re looking for a non-greasy yet very moisturizing body butter I’d highly recommend this!

I love a good body butter and the smell of this coconut body butter is amazing. When you first open the jar it is a little hard, but get a scoop and work it with your fingers. It quickly turns into something quite luxurious. I have found body butters you didn’t have to do this with, but they cost a lot more and my skin feels just as soft and smooth after using this. I would recommend this to anyone who wants soft skin and loves the smell of coconut!
