This book is really awesome. I found it at the library one time, and then had to buy it so I could keep it for future reference. (And I’m not a book person)It’s extremely easy to read. The font is big, each page has 50-100 words, but it’s really informative. It gives you really simple charts about different herbs, tinctures, remedies, and it also has a detox plan for you to follow.Nicely constructed, looks good on the shelf. I would recommend it if you just want some easy-to-learn remedies and not an entire dictionary.

This book is excellent! Very useful! Especially for some of the basics of natural healthcare. Not only does it give fantastic advice on treating ailments but also gives simple, natural guidelines on preventing new and repeating ailments. In the first chapter she outlines cleansing the body and how your body does this. It is very informative. She gives you a basic guide to follow diet wise and then when you look at each section eg. the cold and flu section, she gives you additional guidelines as to nourish your body for that particular ailment. I had a terrible flu, followed the advice in the book and was healthy 3 days later, much faster then usual.

i loved this book. its like having a holistic dr living in your bookshelf. its easy to read and not full of things you have never heard of. its a great way to treat minor ailments naturaly and with things you already have in your cupboard.
