    This book is filled with information for anyone looking to improve their diet and eliminate the foods that cause inflammation. There’s a convenient list of the drinks and foods, including their nutrients and what they do for your health. Another section offers alternatives if a recipe contains ingredients that you need to avoid.The recipes contain ingredients that would be found in many homes or easy to find in your local grocery store. I found 30 recipes that I want to try! The next section after recipes is a 3 week meal planner, which you can customize to your taste.The final section is about journaling to track what works for you. What did you eat , how is your pain level, how does your gut feel, and using the hunger scale to know when to stop eating.I found this book very informative and I am anxious to see the results.

Knowing how and why your body reacts to certain foods is key to healthy living.I gave this book 4 stars for one simple yet dangerous typo. Page 37 lists barley as a gluten free grain. If you are new to GF diet, please do not consume barley as it is definitely NOT GF.

    The only reason I’m not returning it due to the lack of recipes with easy to obtain ingredients and too much work to prepare the recipes, as well as not very many recipes to choose from is that the book itself does have some useful information in it. Otherwise I’d send it back.
