BUT a poured cup of coffee is the perfect 12 oz.Material – Porcelain, it’s the highest quality material you can use to make dinnerware. It’s lighter and stronger than stoneware, it’s far more durable than ceramic, and (this is a *big deal) the handle doesn’t get hot! I can nuke a cup of water beyond boiling, and the handle is bearly warm! Outstanding quality for this price. * Porcelain is so non-porous that it won’t stain! – No scrubbing this beautiful surface. Where – have – you – been – my – entire – coffee-drinking – career? ! !Let’s put aside the fact that this cup has become my all-time favorite; there have been many contestants over the years (cough’ decades), but this cup has beaten every single one.Odd shape but it’s made that way to keep your drink hot. The more liquid surface area there is, the faster something releases heat, so by having a larger bottom and then tapering up to a – perfectly sized rim – it’s an engineered marvel.The matching lid helps retain heat – it sits just right – easy to lift off / put on.AND doubles as a tea bag rest. Not quite flat bottomed.
Not really flat bottomed as it says. Does have flutes on the bottom that make better contact with my coffee warmer and keep my coffee hotter than a standard mug. Overall a nice mug.

Ordered two mugs and both came in separate boxes well wrapped and packaged in two boxes each. Had been using a ceramic mug from cupboard and had usage of coffee warmer at 185 F. and it was just warm. Vobaga mug was hot at 131 F and stayed that way for hours. Had the lid on it when not sipping. You may find a lower temperature best for you. The two mug colors were light purple and light pink and the finish was excellent on both of them. Same for the lids. The mugs are 14 oz. There are only three different types of these mugs for sale on Amazon that I could find so there is not a wide choice available which surprises me. All three are from a coffee warmer and I have a different coffee warmer so all three should work with your coffee warmer. It is nice to have a hot cup of coffee or tea for hours. You will notice that none of the coffee warmer mugs have a flat bottom. This is because of heat expansion. All mugs work despite not being absolutely flat.

Decent but with drawbacks
I love the look and the shape of the mug. I bought the white one. I like my coffee HOT, so I appreciate the fact that it had a lid. However, I was curious why the lid had a cutout which would let heat escape. I use a coffee warmer to keep my coffee hot, and the mug worked fine for that. But… the lid, being made of ceramic like the mug gets too hot to handle when retrieving the mug from the warmer. Without the lid, the coffee doesn’t stay as hot, but with the lid it burns the fingers. So, I’m going to return it.

I LOVE this coffee cup and hotplate. I purchased the mug as well as it has a flat bottom and makes excellent contact. No more cold coffee and no more gulping coffee before it gets chilled.

Who Knew the Benefits of a Flat Bottom Cup
WOW…..Pretty. and useful cup……in the morning, I make coffee first, even tho the dogs are looking at me wanting their breakfast. Because of this my coffee ended up cold, waiting for me. Bought a small coffee warmer and didn’t realize they work best with a cup with a FLAT bottom…….most cups have a rim on the bottom, which doesn’t allow the cup to sit on the warmer properly……so I was drinking warm coffee with the warmer, not much improvement…….came across this cup, and voila……not only is it pretty, has a cover, and the cover has a opening for a spoon……..making it awesome for coffee, but also for a cup of soup, a cup of hot chocolate with toppings, great for a cup of chili ……think of it…….this cup is so versatile, not just for coffee or tea…….so many uses…….you will find yourself reaching for it first.

My Dad was very happy with this mug as he has been looking for one for ages without having to buy the warmer again. But I found out this was very over priced and can get this for less than half the price on the well known auction site.

I was specifically looking for a flat bottom mug to work with my mug hot plates, in the event that my current one breaks.Besides the colour, the mug shape and bottom are identical to my first one, nice and sturdy.Works great, the price was great – so I bought two.Only con is the packaging it comes in, I get you need to protect it but trying to cut through thick black foam and packing tape isn’t easy and then chucking it into the garbage…. It would just be great to see more sustainable packaging for this

Was a bit disappointed at first as I miscalculated the size: I was looking for mugs/cups up to 8cm height. Google uses different way of understanding fractions of inches. It showed me that 3.15 inches should be 8cm. It’s not. The mug height is 9.1cm and it is written in the details of the product which I missed.But the cups looks so good, the porcelain quality is great and they are very comfortable in hands, so I decided to keep them and ordered a few more =)

Good quality but a bit expensive for what it is. It’s slightly larger than the similar-looking original mug that came with my mug warmer but still fits it and works very well.

Manufacturer didn’t package lid well enough for transport hopefully they receive this feedback, Like the mug which was purchased to use on warmer. Contacted Amazon they did the right thing by offering a credit for part of the cost so no need to return it. Ordered some silicone lids which will suit my situation better. Overall happy with purchase just disappointed with broken lid.
