Excellent Green tea for Jun Tea
Excellent Green tea. I purchased this Super Antioxidant Green Tea to make my Jun culture. Kombucha (a Russian Culture) is fermented black tea sweetened with sugar. The fermenting process removes most of the sugar, and I am a diabetic who appreciates this fact. The Jun Culture (from Tibet) ferments better in slightly cooler kitchen temps which are common here in the northeastern USA.. It ferments in green tea and local raw honey. I speculate the fermented green super antioxidant tea with the local raw honey will provide even more health benefits than regular green tea. Jun is called the champagne of Kombucha and has been nurtured by Tibetan Monks for thousands of years. This secret ferment has been guarded religiously by the monks until it made it’s way to the United States in recent years.

I have yet to try a Yogi tea that I do not like. This one taste good however my sole purpose for buying it is for the antioxidant properties of the green tea. Currently I drink oolong tea made by another company. From Yogi I am drinking skin detox, healthy skin and my hands down favorite so far Yogi Peppermint tea. I can’t recall the last time that I have been sick and I credit the powerful antioxidant properties of green/black/oolong tea. I drink four cups of hot tea “every” single day. We all need to adopt the customs of the Asian people when it comes to drinking tea, bottom line.

I often mix this tea with another tea I like such as Throat Coat. I’m not sure what it does but the label sounds really important and it tastes pretty good and is refreshing so I keep getting it.

Tea tastes very good. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is all the extra sediment in the bag. I have to open the tea bag over a garbage so the powder doesn’t get everywhere, and then wait a few minutes after removing the bag from my glass so all the sediment can settle at the bottom. Other than that, good tea!
