Great SPIROLINA in Easy to take tablets
I absolutely love this product. IT IS MY GO to supplement I used to buy those green drink (green magma and other assorted named) varieties at the health food store…but they were messy and didn’t taste the best. I can’t say enough good things about where and how this product is made:NON-GMO, 100% VEGETARIAN, PESTICIDE & HERBICIDE FREE and HIGH QUALITY just to name a few things…it’s MORE NUTRITIOUS THAN CHLORELLA – I read that this blue green algae contains the highest concentration of protein of any plant, herb or animal on a gram per gram basis. It contains 15x more beta-carotene than carrots, 1.5x more calcium than milk and more iron than spinach. It also contains more essential amino acids, iron, protein, B vitamins, and vitamins C, D and E than chlorella. It’s an easy SUPERFOOD that you take 6 tables a day. I heard about it when I bought a ZHOU DHEA product and they were referring it. God knows I need to eat better and I don’t always eat my veggies! Been taking it now for a month and I feel fantastic!!!

More energy, less craving, MUCH better sleep!
I was ordering turmeric when I saw the suggestion for spirulina … Since Dr Axe had a youtube clip on it recently, I was somewhat familiar with it. I wondered if I should order it, and did! I started taking just five a day, but after reading an ebook on it since, I have increased it to 10 grams a day, as I have been battling fatty liver for several years. I also read several testimonies of people who were healed of many other conditions with spirulina! So, I’m very excited about feeling a lot better. I have noticed much more energy than prior to taking it.This stuff is great. I sleep much better when I take these and I’m not as hungry during the day, presumably because my body is getting a lot of nutrients from these tablets. One pleasant unexpected side effect to mention: these give me VIVID dreams. I think I saw another review mentioning this as well. Not sure why it happens, but I like it.

For those not familiar, spirulina is a natural “algae” powder that is incredible high in protein and nutrients. When harvested correctly from non-contaminated ponds and bodies of water, it is one of the most potent nutrient sources available. I love how potent these little pills are and how easy they are to take. Works really well for me.

These actually do give me more energy in my workouts. I llike the deep green, and they don’t taste bad if you put them in your mouth before you drink them down. There is a lot of natural vitamin and mineral content in these, and spirulina has a lot of protein. Forgive me, but it’s Pessimistic Day; I take off one star because they are “made with NON-GMO ingredients” which is a marketing, but often misleading way of disclosing that there is at least one or two components that are of “non-GMO” origin.Ok ok, I add back 51% of a star for good faith that they are not only referring to the “silica” as being non-GMO.I do recommend these if you are trying to have more energy during muscle-using activities.

Thumbs up to ZHOU NUTRITION… 👍🏼 This is the absolute best antioxidant you can give yourself. You take 6 tablets daily. I take all of my vitamins first thing in the morning with a glass of water. They digest very easily, and don’t have a funky aftertaste. You can also feel confident knowing that ZHOU NUTRITION processes this supplement in the most organic conditions. I feel pretty good since taking this so I’ll continue to do so… I’ve even got my Hubby on the SPIRULINA kick 😉 I am going to order the powdered formulation next time to compare which is best for me… I’ll let you know what I think!

Jury still out on Spirulina
When it comes to reviewing this product (which I have been taking for about two months), there is good news and not-so-good news. The good news is that, over the past month or so I have noticed beneficial changes in my skin and overall well-being. The not-so-good news is that I cannot in good conscience solely credit my adding Spirulina tablets to my daily health regimen for these changes – other factors certainly are also involved. My New Year’s resolution this year (more like a promise to myself and something I intend to take seriously) was to increase healthy things, and decrease (or eliminate) unhealthy things in my life. Part of that includes increasing vegan foods, drinking more water (and tea) and choosing appropriate supplements to help keep things in balance. I have also decreased my consumption of alcohol since Jan. 1 (not saying I’m a teetotaler by any means, but I have been making an effort to consciously cut back), along with deep-fried foods (delicious, but bad for the ticker) and sugar-laden goodies (fresh fruit is my new best friend). The long and short of it is this: If you are a health-conscious type, who works to maintain your health and well-being every day, I highly recommend this product. But I don’t believe in any ‘magic pill’ for health; it’s something I have to work for, every single day, and even the best supplements are only part of the overall formula. I can’t say for sure how this supplement is helping me specifically, because I am combining my usage of it with a fairly clean (again not perfect, but I keep trying to do better), plant-based diet with limited sugar, alcohol and fried foods. If you do the same then I think this supplement can be a wonderful addition to your garden of blooming health. Just remember though, that Spirulina is only one flower in the garden; you have to grow other healthy plants along with it, and you have to take care of yourself and your ‘garden’ each and every day.
