Hard bits, not flakes. Hurts your teeth when you bite one.
The consistency is too big and almost bark like. If your cooking with it, it would be great, but on pasta or a pasta salad and things of that nature, not so good. Felt like you were chewing stems. Should be flaky and leaf only in order to work. This needs some improvement.

Doesnt taste like basil. Doesnt cook like basil. Breaks your teeth. No one could eat the entire dish cooked with it. It smells like fennel seed. Needs quality assurance
