A book that speaks to my soul !!
I’m a 90’s child and I grew up in an era where my Mum was a busy working mum (who could only do hair bumps) and a hot comb was an operating tool of hell. Relaxing was the only cure to not breaking a toothcomb or running from any family members who came close. Oh the pain! Dax, Sta-Sa Fro you name it – all melted my hands. My hair broke, grew, was greasy and many combinations didn’t work. I have returned to a black and beautiful England where I am seeing more examples of luscious long locks and LuLu’s Book delivers the proof of how successful our manes can be. Her practical and easy to follow steps on hair care deliver us from going astray. Most insightful book I’ve ever read and helped my daughters hair become beautiful.
My Daughter is 1/2 black (please excuse my bluntness) and she definitely got my husbands type of hair. I have been trying so hard to find a way to make my daughters hair healthy. I had no idea how to keep her hair healthy and moisturized. I didn’t want to put a bunch of product in her hair and no matter what I tried her hair kept breaking and drying out. This book was so insightful and so helpful. Now my daughters hair is recovering its luster and is becoming healthy. Without this book my poor daughters hair would be a mess.
