I’ve been taking the Amazon Elements Men’s for more or so the last three years and it’s been working really well for me. I originally used Garden of Life’s Mykind Organics Men’s Once Daily which is also a good product, but honestly, the price became too much to keep up with. That’s what made me try Amazon’s version and I haven’t looked back since.The Amazon brand while cheaper also has research showing that they use cultured ingredients and covers all the essential vitamins and minerals most people need. It includes things like B12 in its methylated form, calcium from algae, and selenium which I like for heart and prostate support. Not something too important to me but It’s also vegan, gluten-free, and doesn’t have any artificial fillers or colors. There’s even a blend of herbs like turmeric, ginger, and astragalus which I appreciate for overall wellness.When I compare it to Garden of Life, I don’t notice any difference in how I feel day to day. Garden of Life has a longer list of organic fruits and vegetables and a really high dose of B12, but unless you specifically need that, I honestly think this does the job just as well. Plus, the price is way better. A bottle of this lasts two months and costs about the same as one month of the other brand.If you’re looking for a reliable daily multivitamin that’s clean and doesn’t cost a fortune, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a shot. Triggers my Gall bladder attacks, but otherwise a decent multivit
I really wanted to like this multivitamin. I mainly bought it due to the claimed supplemental values, as well as the third party verification. I took it for several weeks, eating one pill per day. At first, the smell and taste was negligible, but I noticed after a couple weeks, it became fairly pungent and tasted a bit funny. Not in a bad way, but just had a much richer smell and flavor than I would prefer. I’m guessing it was due to it being in a humid environment and the supplied silica gel wasn’t able to keep up with the humidity control. Regardless, I thought it was working pretty well, but one day my gall bladder started to act up. It’s just a sharp pain up my upper right abdomen and I begin to have digestive problems. At first I thought it was my diet and tried to cut out some fatty foods, but the problem persisted for a couple weeks. I began looking into what can cause Gall bladder attacks and learned that aside from fatty foods, vitamins can also trigger it as bile is required to digest some types of vitamins. After eliminating the the multivitamins out of my diet, the problem went away and since then, I’m not consuming them on a daily basis. I guess my body doesn’t really need it every single day, but just be warned for anyone who has a sensitive gall bladder.
