The only shampoo and conditioner I use now!
I love the shampoo/conditioner! Shampoo bars, that I’ve tried in the past can leave your hair waxy. This definitely does not do that. I’m also sensitive to sense, and this has a very pleasant mild scent that I can tolerate easily. I have sensitive skin, and that’s a sensitive scalp. This has not disrupted my scalp at all, and has actually helped heal it! The conditioner last forever!

No waste
I liked this conditioner bar more thsn I expected. I wish it was a bit easier to spread, but it’s not bad about spreading. I just like heavy amounts. It’s supposed to be orange cardamom though the scent is pretty faint and doesn’t linger. My hair feels nice and soft after my shower so the conditioner has been working well so far. Currently $12.49 so cheaper than most conditioners bars. Size of 4oz makes it a better value than some. I also liked how safe and simple the ingredients were (made sure to double check ewg). I’m using the bar in a mesh pouch so I don’t keep losing so many crumbles.

Smells great
Smells wonderful but not as user friendly as I had hoped. The shampoo is wonderful but the conditioner is more difficult to distribute onto your hair. Just ok.

Love that there is no plastic! Love that it leaves my hair silky and shiny and not weighed down with waxes like most other “green” hair products. Love the convenience of not having to worry about it spilling in my suitcase!

Conditioner is not as good as the shampoo
This is a change to my original review based on more time passing to give me a better basis for opinion. My hair was also very short when I started using this conditioner and shampoo and now it’s nearly 10 inches longer.I love the scent. And once you FINALLY get it to dissolve enough on your hair, and work it in, it’s great at detangling and hair feels silky.I am still using the very first bar of conditioner but am about to finish the second shampoo. The conditioner bar is too hard and does not dissolve as quickly as the shampoo so it takes quite some time to get enough of it on my hair to do the job.The shampoo lasts a few months whereas the conditioner lasts even longer but I’d rather it dissolve quicker so I can get done sooner.I originally gave 5 stars but have reduced to 3 stars because of the previously stated reasons.

Dried my hair out; smells too much like cologne
Unfortunately this conditioner bar had the opposite effect on my hair from its purpose. It went on smoothly enough in the shower; my hair combed through nicely after the shower, detangling just fine. However, once my hair was fully dry, it felt like straw. And it was kind of stiff, too (normally my hair is wavy and curls in the back, but a larger percentage than usual of my hair just didn’t want to do anything but hang slightly rough, stiff, and straight).I had to put a lot of other product into my hair after it was dry in order to soften it up again and begin to make it feel like its normal texture instead of dry straw.Oh, also this particular scent (herbal musk) was too much for me. It was pleasant enough if you like it, but reminded me too much of one of my old uncles’ colognes, and just as clingy.

I bought these shampoo and conditioner bars for when I went in my Asia trip. I have very long, wavy hair and these bars were great. I always pack them when I travel. Smells good and doesn’t dry out my hair.

I bought both the condition and the shampoo and I have to say that between the two, I prefer the conditioner. The conditioner lathers nice, stays as a bar even when exposed to water for longer periods and honestly even with a little bit used makes my hair so smooth.I find the best way to use this is to really get a good rub going with the soap. Wipe your hands on your hair and wet the bar followed by lathering it again a second time. It only really takes a little bit to see an effect. Furthermore, a big problem I have is drying conditioners and shampoos and these do not do that. I got the orange smelling one and it is not overpowering but definitely leaves my hair smelling clean

I got this product as my second try on conditioner bars, it had really good reviews so I was hoping for a really good conditioner bar. I was slightly disappointed because my hair doesn’t necessarily feel silky, smooth afterward It just feels OK. However, if you are sensitive to smells, the bar is very strong. The smell is so strong that it has contaminated my shampoo bar smell ( which is rosemary ) so in summary, I won’t be buying it again because my nose is too sensitive, but it’s a good price and it will last a long time.
