Safe and effective sunscreen
Finally, a sunscreen I can use without worrying about harsh chemicals. Gentle on my skin but strong against the sun. No parabens, no oxybenzone—just a mineral formula that actually works. It goes on white, but quickly and easily absorbs. It provided great sun protection.

Perfect Sunscreen for Active Families – Safe and Effective
I’ve been using Babo Botanicals Sheer Zinc Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 on all my babies, my husband, and myself for years, especially since we’re active rock climbers and spend summers at the lake. This sunscreen provides excellent protection without any harsh chemicals, and I love that it’s EWG-approved. We’ve never had any burns while using it, even with long days outdoors. It’s gentle on our skin and offers the reliable coverage we need for all our outdoor adventures. No strong odors, and it absorbs quickly. Great for acne and folliculitis prone skin
This sunscreen applies pretty smoothly and doesn’t clump up. It seems to be pretty water resistant based on my experience with using it while exercising. Removal is easy with an oil cleanser followed by my foaming salicylic acid cleanser. I’m sure any foaming cleanser would be sufficient, but I just want to make sure all of it is removed at the end of the day.There is a noticeable white cast, but depending on how much you apply and if it’s the second or later application, it’s not too awful. I’ve been working from home, so it’s not really a concern. Plus, I’ve gotten used to it.What I really like is that it doesn’t break me out. I’ve used mineral sunscreens from big brands that you’d think would make agreeable products and they broke my out. I don’t normally rely on EWG scoring, but I definitely agree with the score for this sunscreen.I highly recommend using a good moisturizer under this sunscreen. This is only a sunscreen. It doesn’t moisturize. I use Vanicream facial moisturizer with it and there’s no pilling. Even when applied minutes later.

Great Sunscreen but…
I LOVE this sunscreen HOWEVER… there is always some product (enough to try and get out at the cost of it!) but it will not come out and you cannot unscrew the lid. I could cut it open, yes, but I’d really like to be able to unscrew the lid to ad to my next tube. I guess I’ll continue to purchase and figure something out.

Love it!!
This works pretty well for my family. We still get some sun, but not burnt while wearing this. If you are very light skinned or burn easily, I’d reapply this more frequently than you may be used to. One of my favorite things about this lotion is NO MORE thick white cream showing all over us anymore!! Once my kids turned into teens, it was much harder to get them to put on sunscreen, since our natural brand we had always used, was super white and very obvious lol. This stuff sinks in, no funky obnoxious smell (I can’t tolerate heavy/synthetic fragrances) and it works well. Very happy to have found this!
