How Did We Get Our Start?
Back in the mid-1990s, our founder Bill Whyte worked as a carpenter. He worked hard, and so did his hands. They would often split and crack in the frigid New England winters. One night, seeking a soothing solution, he mixed up some beeswax and olive oil to create a simple herbal balm. It helped his hands so much, he decided to share it with everyone he knew – and the rest, as they say, is Badger history.

This sunscreen is excellent quality. It’s mineral-based with simple ingredients, and I like that it doesn’t load up on harsh chemicals. The protection feels strong and reliable. SPF 50 gives me peace of mind outdoors. It also scored very high on the Yuka app (93/100), which makes me trust it even more. This is 100% my new face/neck sunscreen.NOW, to be clear… The other reviews are right: this sunscreen is thick, a touch greasy, and difficult to squeeze from the tube.However, these are part of what makes it perfect for a facial sunscreen.Don’t buy this tube thinking it’s going to be your new favorite sunblock for your body. You’ll be disappointed.But, I’ve tried SO MANY other mineral sunscreens (Cerave (too ghosty), Coppertone Pure & Simple (bad rating on Yuka), ThinkSport (my body sunscreen, a little ghosty), and Neutrogena (bad rating on Yuka) and this one is perfect for everyday use on your face.It’s a little greasy because it has sunflower oil and vitamin E in it … So unlike some mineral sunscreens that claim to be hydrating but aren’t, this one actually is good for your skin.And it is thick, but it’s perfect for small, careful applications. It goes on perfectly clear, and leaves your skin feeling great.I’ll definitely buy this product again.

A good sunscreen
I really enjoy this sunscreen. It’s not completely plastic free as it comes with plastic seal but I’m not complaining. It’s soooo much better then 90% of what is out there. That being said, the tin is easy to open while compact but still big enough you get a generous amount of product for the price. This would be super easy for carry on only plane travel or just to throw in a purse for daily carry.Just some things to note, I have extremely sensitive skin. This sunscreen does not bother my sensitive skin. It is completely fragrance free. Has minimal ingredients, and is one of the safest for you and for the environment on the market. I did my research before purchasing. That all being said. I really like this. It’s a hydrating formula some have called it greasy and I don’t quite agree with that. Having used this all over my body as well as tested for regular day wear with no makeup and under makeup as well as a hot day of theme park and water park direct in the sun. And numerous hours of mowing in the direct sun. It’s definitely heavier on the skin but it spreads well and in my opinion it rubs in well and the white cast in minimal. Under makeup it can be a bit heavy but the trick is to give it plenty of time to absorb. This sunscreen is very hydrating and always leaves my skin super soft. I have never been burned when using it. My friend even snatched some from me at the water park and she loved. Said it really made her skin soft. I call the finish luminous as it is made with oils but not so shiny that it’s greasy. My acne prone skin has never broken out because of it. I use it frequently now especially as summer activities are in full swing and I need to protect my fair skin. It’s also a pretty affordable option.

Best sunscreen! It is thick so it takes a minute to apply but it’s worth the extra time. My fiancé and I were both impressed with this sunscreen on our last vacation. I feel better about the ingredients and it really does prevent sunburn. Even though we would both would forget to reapply after a good while in the sun, neither of us had any sunburn after spending a week at the lake. I highly recommend

Our Go-To Mineral Sunscreen for the Family
As a family, we’re very committed to using non-chemical, mineral-based sunscreens, especially for our toddler. After a lot of searching, this Badger sunscreen has become our go-to, and for the quality of the ingredients, it’s a price winner. I love that it’s made with 98% natural ingredients, giving me peace of mind about what I’m putting on our skin in the intense Florida sun.From a practical standpoint, the packaging is great. The size is perfect to fit in any bag, whether it’s my purse or the diaper bag for a trip to the park. It’s also very easy to squeeze the product out of the tube, which isn’t always the case with thick mineral sunscreens.Now, like most mineral sunscreens, it’s not without its cosmetic downsides. The two things we don’t love are the noticeable white cast it leaves behind, and the fact that it’s a bit too greasy for face use. However, for us, these are trade-offs we are happy to make. We don’t mind dealing with a bit of a white cast in exchange for an effective, non-chemical sunscreen that we trust. The protection is excellent, and that’s what matters most to us.

Didn’t leave a white cast. Smells decent and I think works pretty well. Also liked the fact that it’s more on the “healthier” side when it comes to sunscreens. Pricey compared to the regular type of sunscreen but I believe you pay for what you get. And if I can help be more cautious with what I am putting on my skin and it being reef safe I’ll pay a little bit more.

Great Brand! Great Products!
This is my 2nd order. I love the product and the ingredients used. Very creamy. I use the Bug Balm also and the mosquito spray. The mosquito spray was not my favorite because the spray didn’t come out easy for some reason. But I love the Balm. The Bug Balm goes on smooth and has loud scent but I understand that is the ingredient that the bugs hate. Works great at keeping mosquitoes away.

Great sunscreen and wonderful moisturizer
Works great and it’s also a fantastic moisturizer! It leaves the skin white for a few minutes but it doesn’t stay white very long but then the skin is well protected and stays well hydrated. Wonderful stuff

Kolay dağılıyor. Uygulaması da kolay. Kokusu yok. Fakat iyice yedirmek gerekiyor cilde, özellikle yüzünüze sürecekseniz. Ciltte ilk başta beyaz duruyor ama dağıttıkça azcık düzeliyor. Ciltte ki kızarıklıkları da kapatıyor ! Yüzünüz aydınlık oluyor. Güneşte kesinlikle yüzünüz terlemiyor, yanmıyor. Mükemmel bir ürün. Bu markanın her ürününü zaten severek kullanıyorum. Fiyatı döviz kurundan dolayı yüksek yoksa Amerika’da çok ucuz bir markadır. Fiyatını da hakediyor. Tavsiye ederim.

Super effective on long diving trips, no sun burn at all even after full day on a boat in and out water.Just be mindful to use some oil based wash first to wash it off, you won’t be able to clean it with just a soap.
