I love Superfood, and a lot has changed in the last few years. For one thing, there are only two of them now. I loved the grungey indie rock sound of their debut album ‘Don’t Say That’. ‘Bambino’, however, is something else, but that is NOT a bad thing. It’s a very interesting follow-up which, to me, sounds a lot like the stuff Gorillaz do. So if you’ve never heard of Superfood before and you’re a fan of Gorillaz, you’ll probably like this 🙂 If you already know them and you got into them when their debut came out, be prepared for a change in musical direction. The band say they like this album more than their debut too 🙂

I’ve listened to this album about 10 times and have to say it still hasn’t left any kind of impression on me. The first song is good, then its fairly forgettable.
