Bleeding Gums/Dry Mouth/Halitosis/Fever Blisters ALL GONE!
No More Bleeding Gums & my Halitosis is Gone!!! First off, my mom is a dentist and she debunks almost everything about tooth, gum, mouth remedies but she says she sees improvement firsthand with her patients that are “oil-pulling”. I told her to find out which oils they use whether just “sesame oil” like in the old days or coconut or both or whatever the mixture. I’ll update with that info!What this oil did for my 30 year old Husband: my husband grew up on a farm chewing on raw oats and 1.5 years ago, he was chewing on raw oats and one was lodged between his 2 teeth and way down in the gum line causing months of pain and infection in his mouth. He would try Listereeeen and also swish with peroxide and use those little flossers on a stick but no luck. After several rounds of antibiotics, daily NSAIDS and finally coming to grips that an oral surgeon will have to remove tooth and gum tissue because no dentist wanted to, I came across a blog about natural remedies for detoxing thyroid and other detox remedies and I was hooked after I read it. He used it and after the 4th time using this stuff (he doesn’t even swish for the full recommended time) this oat breaks free and he’s a new man! He didn’t even realize it was an oat that was causing all of that tooth pain until after it came out in his mouth that night. My husband also smokes but if he swishes for even half the recommended time (8-10 mins) then I can’t smell or taste a freshly smoked cigarette on his breath! Impressive!DO NOT SPIT OUT IN SHOWER OR SINK UNLESS YOU WANT AN IMMEDIATE CLOG! My husband did this and we had a clog within 2 days in the shower. I like to spit mine out in toilet or in the garbage can if there is enough paper towels to soak up oil.For me: I have battled Bleeding gums for years!!!! I hate flossing and I’ve never had a cavity so I’m stubborn there but because I dont floss, my gums bleed. I also get so much food stuck in my teeth (especially chicken) and this has really helped with it.I get Fever Blisters under my nose during flu season and when I get them, they get huge and out of control so fast and last for weeks and I hate them with a passion. One popped up 4 days ago and I put this oil over it twice daily maybe but definitely once per day and it is basically gone today. No bubbly blisters or pain and itching. This is huge for me!The bumps on the back of my tongue were huge and there were a ton of them and since oil pulling with this product, I barely have any!!!!Dry Mouth- I have adult ADHD and my medication causes severe dry mouth. Nothing has ever worked that was a once a day use to keep the dry mouth away like this has and I’ve tried a lot of “dry mouth products” that even Dentists recommend.I love How this product has a slight mint flavor!!!!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! At least try it once!

Oil Pulling for Dummies
Just to begin, I did not receive this product at any kind of discount. I paid the full Amazon price for it because I wanted to try it out. As of now, I’ve been using it almost every day for a few weeks, and I have used half the bottle, so I have a pretty good idea of how I feel about it. First, the directions recommended swishing about 15 mL’s, but I think that is a VERY large amount so I usually use somewhere between 5-10 mL’s. Also, just a personal preference, but I like to do my daily oil pulling at night as I’m getting ready for bed instead of in the morning like they recommend. This is because in the morning I’m usually in a bit of a hurry so I may not have the time, plus I have a bit more of a gag reflex in the mornings and this does occasionally trigger my gag reflex when I have to spit it out due to taste/smell. I have to say, while this is a way more pleasant sensation than just plain coconut oil pulling (I am not a fan of the taste of coconut), it is not as powerfully “mint” flavored as I would’ve liked. I can definitely *feel* the mint sensation, but it tastes more like sesame oil than mint to me. If it was absolutely unbearable, I’d buy and add some peppermint/spearmint oil, but it’s not a dealbreaker and it’s still way better than oil pulling with pure coconut or sesame oil if you ask me. Overall, I wouldn’t say I’ve noticed my teeth were much whiter or that any of the small stains on my teeth were less noticeable, though. My teeth do feel super clean, especially when I follow this with a brush and floss, but I think this product is definitely going to take more time and continued use to reap any whitening benefits. I’m not too put off by the price, and now that there’s a new much larger size available on the Banyan website I might look into that. But before I invest in the big bottle, I’m thinking of maybe trying to use some kind of pump with the bottle so I don’t have to pour out the oil. Inevitably I end up spilling just a teeny bit that runs down the side of the bottle as I pour it into the measuring cup, and I don’t want to waste any. Overall, I think it’s a decent product that makes oil pulling a lot more user-friendly. I might just be lazy, but I really find this product to be much easier to use than trying some DIY oil pulling recipe with pure coconut or sesame oil, so I will continue to use it and will update my review later on if my opinion changes.

Honestly I’m not a fan. First of all it’s so costly for something that you’d be doing daily for a while… when you can just simply use organic coconut or sesame oil.Also, the “peppermint” is supposed to make the flavor taste better but if anything I don’t like the taste at all.
