I chose this item to review, for my husband who has DM type II. The price at the time of review is $47.50.I’m not going to lie, the packaging caught my eye first, it’s gorgeous, clean packaging. I grabbed this quickly to review, because I knew it would disappear.After selecting this for review, I started to do some research. I had no idea that Dahlia was so beneficial.I am a fan of New Zealand, and my experience there, as a person from the USA, is that overall, it’s cleaner, ingredients are simpler and healthier. Their produce was top notch, and beef tasted amazing. The whole country just FEELS cleaner and healthier than home. When I saw that this product is from NZ, and not China or India like most of the supplements I review, I was excited to review something different. I have a higher lever of trust for the product, but also a higher level of expectation.According to the Pure Lifespan website, this supplement was developed by a neuroscientist named Dr. Alexander Tups. The website talks a little bit about the science behind dahlia. Their products are 3rd party tested.The capsule size is reasonable, not huge. My husband has been taking the supplement for about 3 weeks now.I can’t say he’s noticed any benefits, his blood sugars are the same on average as before using the supplement. I like The fact that dahlia can reduce inflammation in the brain, and help to make the body more sensitive to insulin. My guess is that using this supplement is a long game as far as noticing benefits. IF we see any benefits.This is where price comes in, it’s a pricey supplement to take for a longer period of time, to see if it MIGHT help. I’m not completely convinced, as with many herbal supplements, that the benefits are measurable. My husband will finish out the bottle, then we can re-evaluate. My guess is, we won’t continue due to cost.

In the past 6 weeks now I have had a metabolic panel drawn three times and I can say that yes I have seen a difference in my fasting blood sugar. The regular price on this stuff is expensive but Amazon seems to have it at like half price, so that is amazing, not sure if that is the regular price here on Amazon or not. Even if this were not the regular price with how well this works this stuff would be worth full price. I love that this supplement only has the dahlia petal extract in and no like vitamin this or that. I also love that it is made in New Zealand, seems to be very clean. I love how well studied this supplement is in terms of its efficacy, and when I searched it up there were no negative side effects. Highly recommend this product.

Quality Dahlia extract in easy to take capsules.
Dahlis extract really gives some major helath benefits, but do your research to know what you need. Looks to be good quality capsules with plenty of Dahlia in each. Haven’t been taking them for long, so I don’t know yet about their effectiveness, but hoping for great results. Nice size so they are easy to swallow without any aftertaste.
