It works great for dark spots. I had ant bites that never fully went away and discolored but this helped fade them.

Good ingredients but no whitening
On the fence about this product. It’s a small bottle with a very thick white cream inside. There is a flat plastic stopper that you have to pop off to get the lotion to squirt out. It’s a bright white cream (titanium oxide likely as it’s listed in the ingredients) but once you rub it in, it disappears into the skin. No greasiness or heaviness and there is a slight scent to it. I went ahead and plugged in the ingredients and all ingredients are either great or good with the exception of fragrance. The few ingredients that contribute to skin brightening are: Niacinamide, Ascorbic acid, Licorice Root Extract, all of which can be found in many serums and creams. It’s not bad per se but nothing that would whiten dark armpits for example. Most people with darkness are dealing with Acanthosis Negricans which is a metabolic syndrome rather than any skin dirtiness or hyperpigmentation which these ingredients target.
