It definitely increased overall physical and sexual energy.From the research I have done, Maca does not not affect testosterone levels but works through an unknown mechanism to increase energy and libido. I will say that the product performs well for me. The background I read suggest 4:1 to 6:1 extract ration which this product is 4:1Powder is uniform in consistency. Taste is pleasant, almost nutty. I add this to cover up the earthy taste of mushroom powder i take as well. I will be adding this to my supplements I take.MVI- currently Orange triad, Ana-vite, Optimen’s (I rotate the MVI) fish oil, Vitamin D3-5000 units.Overall: good customer service. Fair price. So, product taste etc is fine.I should have looked closer. I wanted just Maca Root Extract, nothing else. Well, it includes “Organic Dextrin”, which is not maltodextrin but is a starch.I am on a low carb Keto diet, so I think this may be messing with my blood sugar levels as well, I’m trying to reverse diabetes, I add this to my protein shake, and my blood sugar goes up 30-40 points.I was using a strictly Organic Maca that gave 5000 mg in 1/2 a tsp. This product I take a full tablespoon to get 6000 mg of Maca.In addition, not only the Dexin going to spike your blood sugar, but as a fiber, it is also going to remove cholesterol. If you are on a Carnivore diet, you may not want this to happen.It also shifts from a full ketosis into moderate ketosis.Here’s a good explanation on Dextrin. My only question is why, other as a filler, why?

I have been using maca powder for some time and have noticed some increase in energy and stamina, don’t feef as run down. No problems with mixing and taste, I mix it with Gatorade powder. The seal and good company buy frpmthe bag makes it a little messy getting out the powder but that’s the only draw back. Good and pure product.

Recipe for anti-hotflash cereal
My wife gets hot flashes. I have been reading articles and watching videos, trying to learn what will help. She gets them so bad that they seem constant. Maca root is one of the things I try to get her to eat which helps with the flashes. But it does not taste good, and does not mix in liguids well. Here is my solution. Mix it with other powders. You might not need this much phyto-estrogen power to cure your hot flashes, but FYI this packs a serious punch and almost completely eliminates them for my wife. Some of these things are added just to make a meal out of the powders. I get a lot of the below items from Bulk Supplements. The seeds, flax, milk and almond flour offset the taste of the extracts a lot. She doesn’t say that this tastes fantastic, but she says it isn’t bad either.Disclaimer: I am not responsible for your use of my recipe below.
