I was so hoping this would bring down my cholesterol numbers, l have been taking this for a good while, went to have my blood work done, and my cholesterol numbers was worse then before l started. I was so hoping it would bring it down, but instead it went higher, so disappointed in this. Did not work for me.

3 is a dose.
These capsules are easy to swallow and do not leave any aftertaste. I was very excited to receive/start taking them until I read the serve suggest and realized I need to take three capsules each day. I don’t love taking pills and three is a lot. I decided these are not for me but in the time that I was taking one, I had no adverse reactions. After swallowing the capsule, it was immediately forgotten.

At first glance, the price might seem high compared to other red yeast rice supplements. I will admit, I had to investigate the price point of this product. Obviously this product is meant to address cholesterol issues. And, red yeast rice studies have shown it to have a beneficial effect, lowering cholesterol levels. Garlic also appears to have a similar efffect, in addition to lowering blood pressure. So, any supplement that includes red yeast rice and garlic would seem ideal in managing blood cholesterol. This supplement has those (and Inositol and Artichoke extract), but in an extract form. Basically this means it’s a concentrated form of those ingredients.I take red yeast rice and garlic, in separate supplements. I am impressed with getting red yeast rice as an extract (10:1), and doubly impressed with the garlic being ‘aged ‘ and extract (10:1). In my opinion, this more than justifies the given price. In fact, comparing it to separate red yeast rice and aged garlic supplements, this supplement is more than competitively priced. And you’re getting two additional ingredients!I will be interested to see how this supplement affects my blood work, in little more than 3 months from now.I’ll amend this review/rating upon receipt of those results.But, for now, I like the ingredients of this supplement. I give this a high level recommendation.
