My Dr suggested that I start taking Citracal 8 months ago. I had broke my femur, and it wasn’t healing. I don’t know if it was the Citracal, but 5 months later my bone had healed, so I think they are effective. They have been a health benefit to me, so I’m still taking them to hopefully keep my bones strong. The texture is smooth, so they are easy to swallow, I don’t notice a taste at all.

I’ve been taking this calcium supplement for just a few months so I can’t attest to any results just yet. I’m 80 years old and never took a calcium supplement until now I like the time release aspect of the supplement. The pill is too big to swallow so I break it in half. A simple solution.
