I scientifically test my beauty products by using them on one side of my face and comparing it to something neutral, in this case I used aloe gel as my control. I’ll go as long as 5 weeks before giving up on an experiment, but in this case, I only needed 4 days to see major results. You can check out the video to see the difference.I use prescription retinol so my personal focus is on deep collagen building, the retinol does a great job with the skin surface, but my 40 year old skin needs a deeper boost. This 100% fills that need. My test eye is lighter/brighter (I have gothic dark circles under my eyes), the sunken part of my cheek has filled, and the perkiness of my cheek has lifted the line of my jowl. That is what I’m really excited about…I’m trying to age gracefully, but the changing of my chin line is what pierces my heart. Lifting the jowl boosts my soul!Besides how fantastic this is working, it’s an easy product to use. It’s a gel consistency, so it isn’t running through my fingers and down the drain like other serums. No burning, tingling, or any sensation. No negative reaction.This is actually worth the $50. Let us review a great product. I found the price and size to be acceptable. The jar is easy to store in my vanity area and the dropper allows me to control the amount I use. I found there was no odor and it absorbed into my skin easily. The dropper puts a dollop of clear liquid the size that I want. It looks like water but moves like an oil, spreading easily where I put it. I have only used this a night treatment on my clean face. I find that my skin looks soft and feels like that as well before bed and I wake up with the same fresh, smooth look. I have extremely dry skin that has been around for over 50 years and it loves to have this smoothed on to my forehead and face. I have not had any irritation or inflammation with this serum. I have also changed my method of application. I drop this on the back of my hand and rub the leftovers in to the backs of my hands and they have shown the best improvement. I am happy to share that extra bonus tip!

This is my third Cosmesis product. They’re a really nice brand and produce quality skincare serums, creams, and cleansers.Their Vitmain C serums is one of my favorite weekly facial products right now, so when I got the chance to review this collagen serum I was of course pumped.The dark glass bottles that their serums come in are great and the droppers are decent. The droppers could have a smaller nozzle for more precision application but it’s still a decent applicator.This is a a good collagen serum. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite. It’s a bit oily in textured and despite what other reviewers have said, I’ve found the best way to apply this is to add a few drops directly to my lotion.I’ve been using it for about two months now, and maybe I haven’t been as consistent as a should be but I don’t feel like theres been any real change in my skins appearance.Perhaps it’s because I’m so used to their products giving a quick and dramatic boost to my skin but this is just an ‘okay’ collagen booster to me.
