Best protein powder ever

Not a fan of the taste / texture
My wife likes to take a protein shake with her to work because her job is very physical and she likes the boost she gets from a protein drink.She said that she did not like the taste of this mix and she didn’t like the grainy texture. This powder has many great ingredients, so she decided to make protein cookies and bars with it instead of a drink mix.The price is on the higher end, possibly because of the additional benefits from probiotics and amino acids for muscle recovery, but it would not be something she would consider buying again just to use for baking.

Okay tasting vegan protein powder
It’s always difficult trying to balance great taste, healthy for you, lactose free, and high in protein. This powder comes close, but the taste is just okay. It does get a little foamy when blending so make sure you’re okay with that texture and then give your blender room to foam up. Overall a decent vegan protein powder that is good if you’re mixing it well with things like fruits.

Pretty Good Protein, In Need of Stronger Flavor
I’ve been trying to mix-up the protein powders I’ve been using lately, and I appreciate that this protein powder is vegan and made with pea protein and flax seed. I like that it’s free of artificial sweeteners, preservatives, or any unnecessary additives. It’s made with simple, clean ingredients. Unfortunately for me though the taste was a bit off and it took a while for me to mix it to get smooth enough. The creamy vanilla flavor is very subtle. It’s not terrible, but not something I look forward to post-workout either. It was a little too bland, but taste is subjective and often people don’t like it if it’s too sweet. So overall great ingredients, extremely healthy, but hard to mix, not dissolving easily, and a vanilla flavor that is just well, plain, vanilla literally.

If you like a straightforward vanilla protein powder, this option fits the bill in many ways. The flavor was a basic vanilla. It was good, in the way that something with a simple but well-balanced flavor profile is. It was a little too basic for me to have it all the time, so I liked using it in smoothies where it added a nice vanilla essence and protein boost.The container recommended using a blender or shaker bottle to mix the protein powder, and I would agree. When stirred into a glass of water, the powder dissolved completely although the texture was still a bit gritty. It worked out best when I used a blender. Then the texture was very smooth. I also found that I liked adding in a couple ice cubes, because it made the protein drink take on the consistency of a plant-based milkshake.One thing that I noticed about this protein powder was that it was easier on the gut than some other varieties. I protein powder fairly frequently, and I’ve noticed that if I’ve had too much my body usually lets me know. I had much fewer issues with this protein powder compared to a lot of others if I had more than one serving.While I liked this protein powder, I think that the price point is high. While it has some nutritional benefits that other brands don’t, they wouldn’t be worth it for me to buy the powder again. While a decent option in some respects, I didn’t find it to be exceptional enough for the cost.
