Long time favorite of mine. Moisturizing and non-irritating.
I’ve been using DHC products for years well before they started selling on Amazon or in Ulta and they make a quality product. They’re a Japanese brand and the Japanese (and Koreans) are leaders in the beauty and skincare arena which is why I mainly use products from those countries. I’ve always liked this lip cream; it’s simple and not medicated. I have very sensitive skin and I never cared for Chapstick because it’s so waxy and just sat on my lips in a thick, ugly layer. The DHC consistency is more of a creamy wax than a hard wax and I agree that it’s pricey for the quantity, but I have no problem paying a premium for a quality product and it works for me. There’s no scent or taste and it’s moisturizing.I usually have a few of them scattered around the house, one in the car and one in my purse. When you get towards the end of the stick, it’s easy enough to use the top of your fingernail (if they’re long enough) or a clean orange stick to get to the remainder at the bottom of the barrel if you so desire. I hate waste, so it’s not a bother for me, but I think you’ll be pleased if you give this one a try. They arrived on time and well packaged.

It’s chapstick in a tube
I have a daughter with extremely chapped lips, so I bought this on the recommendation that it was the best lip product ever. I can’t say that’s true, but it is a decent chapstick. It goes on smooth, is thick but not sticky, and it stays on for quite a while. But it doesn’t necessarily heal lips like a medicated balm would. Ultimately, it seems to be just as good as most chapsticks out there, but the price is a little higher. To be fair, Laneige lip mask is twice as expensive and isn’t any better. But I’m still on the hunt for an affordable balm that will rehydrate lips and heal cracks fast.

Initially skeptical and now completely sold!
Although I was incredibly skeptical since there weren’t a ton of reviews here on Amazon, I decided to take a chance on this product after seeing it featured on a few different beauty blogs. I just moved to a cold weather/ harsh climate state and was tired of showing up at work with dry, chapped, lips and watching my lipstick start to flake off during the day. The first application blew me away! It felt immediately like it was coating my lips in velvety softness. It felt thick and protective, but not in a gross or vaseline sort of way. Since trying it over a month ago, I’ve noticed significantly less chapping, dryness, and cracking. This is the first lip product that feels like it’s actually healing my lips and not just providing a temporary cure. In fact, after the first three weeks of frequent daily use, I didn’t find myself applying it as frequently throughout the day. Now, I generally apply it once in the morning before applying any lip color and then right before going to bed.I’ve tried a number of different lip products over the years, and I think that DHC will have a loyal customer. But I can’t imagine I’ll need to purchase it for quite a while. The two pack allows me to keep one near my bedside and one in my purse, and I think it would last me well throughout the entire year now that my use has become more sparing. Don’t let the price be a sticker shock. Again, you get two, and I’ve seen lip treatment options at Sephora and the like that are ~$18 for only one product. I very much believe this has been a valuable investment in my lips for the year.Regarding the reviews related to smell, I actually don’t detect any scent at all.

付けた瞬間は乾いたツバみたいな激臭だけど数分すると消えます。あとピーリングの成分が入ってるのか？痛んだ部分から結構皮剥けしますが最終的にはふっくらとした綺麗な唇になるので愛用してます。
