Before I developed Drunk Elephant, I had all sorts of skin issues. I was a frustrated, confused brand-hopper searching for anything that would help. Strong but effective
I did a ton of research on this and its very good retinol. It has the percentage you want to actually do anything for your skin BUT its strong still. My face gets red and cracks due to dryness. I just started to mix it with moisturizer and that seems to be working well though. Good stuff!

A must have if you’re over 30
I was using a retinol that claimed to be high potency. I went through what they call “retinol purge” and broke out terribly. Then after about 2 months of using the other retinol product, the breakouts slowed, but my face still had a terrible texture and my large pores where still very visible. I have this app I found where I can take a selfie and it tells me my “Skin Score”. I used to have a skin alScore of 72 and my skin age was 52. I am 49 so to be told that I look like I’m 53 crushed me. Now, since using this retinol for the last month, my new score is 82 and my skin age is 42. I am so happy. I have checked my score on that app for the last almost 2 years and couldn’t do anything to get that score to go up. After all that time of checking my score and it not moving much, to see it now change dramatically, means the world to me. I am so happy with this product!! The texture of my face was a very low score of like 69 or 70 and now it’s 80! Yay!!!

Has the active ingredient of Retinol and is a good value for the product. Only use it at night because Retinol can make you sensitive to sunlight. I use it every night before bed and under my moisturizer. Highly recommend! It’s a big price tag, but not as bad as other products and it’s a good value for the % of active Retinol in the cream.
