E L. F. Is killing it lately with their incredible products that rival brands three times their price! Was looking forward to trying this Halo Glow Beauty Wand Contour since it came out recently. I have fair/light skin tone and have a hard time finding a complimentary shade of contour at any price range. Most contour is too dark or has an orange tone to it that looks like mud on fair skin. I really liked the color of fair/light in the picture on Amazon and decided I had nothing to lose for $9. I ordered it last night around 10 pm and it arrived this morning at 8:30 am just as I was applying my makeup for church. The color is perfect! The fair/light shade is the most complimentary color for light skin tone I’ve ever seen. It was a light brownish-nude color that blended beautifully and easily for a subtle but definite contouring effect and it’s buildable. Instead of standing out, it was more of a shadow on the skin that was natural and beautiful instead of a dark, glaring, muddy look. Great applicator, easy to use and no mess or spillage. I used a brush to blend. It’s very creamy and didn’t fade at all in the four hours until I took it off. It doesn’t have a matte or luminous look, just very natural looking and didn’t make my skin look dry and cakey. Excellent product at a great price. Best contour I’ve ever used and I’ve tried them all. I’m ordering the Halo Glow Beauty Wand blush immediately. I also ordered the E. L. F. Holy Hydration Cleansing Balm and was blown away. See my review for that too. No promotion, I paid full price for both.

Great for travel, color was a perfect match and blended well. In a pinch it’s great to use as an eyeshadow. You have to blend this in fairly quickly otherwise it has a tendency to dry up fast and make it hard to blend.

Nice Color, But Hard to Blend
I recently tried the e.l.f. Halo Glow Contour Beauty Wand, and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, the color is beautiful! It gives a nice, natural contour that’s not too harsh, and it blends well with my skin tone. The product has a lovely glow to it that adds a healthy, radiant finish, which I really appreciate.However, I did find it a bit tricky to blend. The formula is thicker than I expected, and it doesn’t blend as seamlessly into the skin as other contour products I’ve used. I had to spend quite a bit of time working it in with a beauty sponge to get a smooth, even finish, and even then, I felt like it left some streaks behind. That said, once I got it blended properly, the contour looked great, so the effort is worth it, but it’s not the most user-friendly product for a quick application.Overall, I love the color and the finish, but I wish it were easier to blend. If you’re willing to put in the time and effort to work with it, the Halo Glow Contour Wand can be a great addition to your makeup routine. Just be prepared for a little extra blending work!

Fabulous liquid contour at a great price
Beautiful color contour and so easy to apply! I wanted to jump on the liquid contour, blush, and highlighter bandwagon, but didn’t want to make a huge investment upfront so I ordered all three items from this line and I’m very happy with them! As a woman over 50 wearing liquid makeup just seems to be more flattering. I love the spongy applicator that allows you to dot the contour exactly where you want it to go and then blend it with a brush or damp sponge.

Beautiful Contour
LOVE the applicator!! This was very easy to use and VERY pigmented, a little goes a long way. Just had to make sure to blend it out before it dried down otherwise it would leave circle spots that were darker than the blended areas. I ended up mixing this shade with the next shade up since I had self tanned and it worked out perfectly for me. I used the ELF double sided contour brush to blend and was super happy with the end result. I layered Physicians Formula bronzer and ELF liquid blush over it and had no issues with product moving, lifting, or pilling. I wore this to my graduation photos, graduation ceremony, and to dinner afterwards. Full transparency, I slept in my makeup that night and my makeup still looked perfect the next day at noon the next day. Granted I layered the Milani setting spray & Elf coconut setting spray over it. I will definitely be wearing this again this summer when I want a little bit more color to my face without having to wear multiple layers of makeup!!

Loved her, it would glide nicely and blend great into skin, I had it from start of January to nearing end of June (aka lots of product to spare as I go to Highschool and do a full face everyday) it works very well with liquid foundations and due to its tone creating a natural shadow unlike others.
