I’ve been using Eight Saints for a while now. Like the other serums, goes on smooth, feels clean, and absorbs quickly. No heaviness, no weird smell, just pretty straightforward and gives noticably brighter, more even tone for my sun spots, softer skin (in my 40s), smoother texture overall, skin looks a little fresher in the mornings…I can’t even describe it well enough. Nothing flashy, just consistent results at a price that feels almost too reasonable. This is exactly what I want from a retinol and what I’ve know to expect from this company. I’m pretty sure I’m using much less moisturizer and even foundation because this helps so much. Amazing.

Gentle on skin & noticeable results
I purchased the Eight Saints Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum as a recommendation from a friend. I’ve been looking at updating and renewing my skin routine, and she recommended I try looking at products from Eight Saints. I couldn’t be happier! This is the first retinol product that I’ve used in a while and love it. The serum is light weight and absorbs quickly so it’s a fast part of my morning routine (and I’m all about speed when it comes to getting ready in the morning). I didn’t notice any peeling or irritation when using it either. My skin feels softer and I’m seeing some of my fine lines go away.I started using this product after spending a week on the Florida coast and subjecting myself to sun, wind, and loading my face with sunscreen each day. Smooth Sailing Indeed!!!
I was excited to try Eight Saints Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum after my success with other Eight Saints products that I’ve purchased. I can confidently say it’s the best retinol serum I’ve used.This serum has done wonders for my skin, noticeably reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots. My skin tone has evened out, and my pores look smaller. Thanks to the hyaluronic acid, my skin stays hydrated and plump, even though I use the product 3-4 times a week before bed (after I have washed my face and let it thoroughly dry). The serum spreads evenly and glides on–it’s not sticky. Unlike other serums that I have used in the past, Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum has not irritated my skin at all.I also love that it contains green tea, which helps calm any irritation or redness. It works well with all skin types, and I’ve personally had no dryness, a common issue with retinol. My skin has been clearer and smoother since I started using it, and I’m so glad I made this purchase. Adding Retinol to the Nightly Routine
I was introduced to Eight Saints when I tried their Discovery Kit and fell in love with the Seeking C Serum. If you haven’t tried it, it’s a must have! I’ve had remarkable results. I’ve wanted to try a retinol for a while now, but worried about how my newly glowing & slightly sensitive skin would react. I was pleased to see how gentle the Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum performed. No irritation and it quickly absorbed. Also, no overpowering scent.It may be a little early to see any dramatic results, but so far my skin is loving it. This 54yr old complexion is smooth, bright and glowy. I am a FAN!

I purchased the Eight Saints Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum because I’ve been using their Smooth Sailing Retinol Cream for several weeks now and loving it! I started by trying the Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum alone for the first week and it was just as wonderful as their SSR Cream. It has little to no smell, absorbs quickly, and is natural and clean skincare which is really important for mature skin. The green tea is soothing, so I was able to use the serum daily with no dryness or irritation. It does help to even my skintone and help with discoloration. I’ve now started using both the Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum with the Smooth Sailing Retinol Cream and I’ve found my new favorites. I also use their Eight Saints Up The Anti Anti Aging Night Cream at night which helps with hydration. So far all the Eight Saints products I have tried have been excellent quality and can be used by anyone, any age! Thank you again Eight Saints for your wonderfully clean and effective skincare lines! I highly suggest trying their discovery kits too, their cleansers are out of this world.

Worth a try
When my dermatologist told me to start using retinol & offered to prescribe it, I asked about using this instead (combined with the retinol moisturizer). She reviewed the product info and told me to try it, which frankly surprised me. I love this stuff – it feels so great going on (and no smell), gives my skin a slight but nice tightening feeling when it dries, isn’t sticky or thick, and I definitely think my skin looks smoother and brighter since using it.
