Mellow Mood Mushroom Melange Updated Review
This seemed to put this earthy girl in a mellow mood and did not have a bad taste. I purchased it for general health and well being. I mixed it into a cacao drink that I make that tastes like a treat, but is actually very healthy. I am excited to see what I can add it to, in the future (soups & smoothies, perhaps). I plan to repurchase. If I could think of anything that was disappointing it would be that it developed rather hard clumps before I even finished the canister. I have it in a cool, dark place, so not sure why it did that. Now, I have to bang it on the counter and try to break up the clumps before each use…Also, I noticed that this photo features a sealable pouch. Perhaps, they received some feedback on the clumps and transitioned to the pouch in order to prevent this issue. It includes a great variety of beneficial mushrooms… all of the ones that I was interested in trying. I ordered this again and still is in a round canister, not the pouch that is shown. Still has clump issue. I sure wish they would FIX this!!! Pain in the rear to use clumpy product towards the last 10 or so scoops. Otherwise, great product.

I’m not going to lie: At first I was disappointed with how little there is in this 2 ounce bag. I thought I was getting more, BUT when I saw how much organic mushrooms cost at the supermarket, plus the work it takes to dry and make it into a ground powder then it’s clear why these mushrooms cost what they do. Plus, even with 1/4 of a teaspoon, I get immediate relief.It’s exactly the way it’s described: a sense of relaxation and calm, and everything becomes clear and quiet: It really helps your mind focus and makes your brain more sharp but without the jitters of caffeine as there is no caffeine in this product, which is exactly what I wanted. I had never tried reishi before (once I was going to try it at an acupuncture place), but unfortunately I was kinda scared of it. Now, I am in love. Reishi is great for balancing my hormones, and man, did I really feel the effect of this when I got my period. My hormones were all over the place, and I decided to take a little more (half a teaspoon), and damn was this amazing at helping me as if I didn’t have my period. My mood changed and got more positive, and I didn’t feel the fatigue I was feeling before. This works. Sure, it’s not cheap, but for me it lasts a long time because a little goes a long way for me. I kinda see it as if I’m micro-dosing daily with 1/4 of a teaspoon and then when I get my period, I take half a teaspoon, and it works like a miracle.If you read more about medicinal mushrooms—especially reishi—you can tell there’s a lot of healing properties to them. I mean have you seen a picture of reishi in the wildi? It looks so trippy. You can tell this mushroom is going to do some good.- V

I usually buy the individual packets I had never seen the bag before. I was a little disappointed it’s less than I expected but they also tell you 3/4 of a teaspoon will work I still have a packet I am going to see if that’s how much is in the packet because I don’t want it to be weaker than what I am used to for drinking. I really like this coffee at least I like the individual packets now I will see if I actually get 30 servings out of what they sent. I was buying another brand that is more expensive excellent but expensive I discovered this when I decided to switch off during the month. This is my big splurge for myself. This is delicious I’m just not sure about the number of servings. The more expensive one actually send you a spoon you are lucky if you get about 18 servings if you use their spoonAs far as the coffee itself it gets a fivefrom me

Great mushroom mix but pricey
Very nice mix for mushroom cocoa but too pricey for the itty bitty 2oz bag. Stamet’s is the best price I’ve found for a similar mix. Om Master blend is a 2nd place. So yes, it’s a very nice mushroom blend that isn’t grainy. In a mug I add a big dollop of honey, a heaping spoonful of Cacao powder and a spoonful of mushroom powder. Mix it together in the honey so it all dissolves easily without floating to top and turn the keurig on. Top with cream or milk.Hazelnut creamer makes it dreamy but not very healthy.,If the bag would bump up to 6-8 oz I’d buy it again. But at $10 per ounce I won’t be purchasing again.

I add this to my daily morning smoothie, and it doesn’t detract from the flavor, at all. In general, my eating habits are pretty good. Limit my sweets, look for organic, and I’m vegan, so this doesn’t make a huge difference in how I feel and my overall health. But I do seem to have more vivid and memorable dreams, which may be a sign of good health, as well. With all the good reports of the benefits of these mushrooms available, I feel that this is a good addition to my daily routine, regardless of how I might feel in the short term. I used another product before, but discovered that they only used one of the two methods of extraction in their process. So, I looked for another company that used the two methods that are used, because there are benefits to both, and this company fits the bill. The only complaint I have is that the container they use is only half full. I hate waste, and can’t understand why they wouldn’t change either the packaging, or the fill the container and charge a little more.

I love the energy I get from this mushroom blend. It’s sweet tasting and a good substitute for coffee. I’ve had a few of the coffee blends from Four Sigma as well and do enjoy those. The quality from this company is superb and I don’t have any fears ordering from them. It is a little pricey, but in reality it’s about as much as a fancy coffee per serving.

This is an excellent product. I put a scoop on 150ml of orange juice and do not taste it at all. People complain about it being expensive but they just aren’t being realistic at all. They spend more than this on coffee for a month. Health supplements are typically much more expensive than this.I notice energy increase overall. Even if I didn’t tangibly notice any results I would still take this as the health benefits of all mushrooms is very well proven.I would recommend this product to anyone

Es wundert ja schon, wenn auf der Verpackung vermerkt ist, dass der Bleigehalt evtl hoch ist…Habe diese Mischung zwei, drej mal nur genommen. Wie ich es von anderen Mischungen kenne – im Kaffee.Mein Magen hat jedesmal mit spürbarer Übelkeit reagiert.Nach zwei Tagen, hat mein Körper mit einem Ausschlag reagiert am kompletten Körper. Das gab es bisher noch nie.Ob sich um eine Reishi Dermatitis handelte, die aber dann normalerweise anders aussieht, oder andere Verunreinigungen vorlagen, werde ich wohl nie erfahren.Ich hatte so etwas jedoch noch nie zuvor und dieses Produkt geht direkt in den Müll.

Came almost half full, found out it has a led warning after purchasing. But I enjoyed the instant coffee they sell so thought I’d try this. Didn’t cook with it, but did not go well in earl grey tea. Best with coffee, or maybe cooking.
