Our Finnish grandparents brewed mushrooms when they couldn’t get coffee. Turns out those mushrooms—Chaga—are a powerful, immune-supporting Four Sigmatic food. That gave us an idea.

This is our founder, Tero.

Unflavored=Cinnamon flavor
I love this! My normal protein powder by Premier Research is out of stock so I took a chance on this brand. It blends well, not chalky, quality ingredients, good benefits and great flavor. Even though I got unflavored, it has a great cinnamon flavor that went well with my mixed berry/banana smoothie. So as long as other buyers like cinnamon, they’ll be very pleased.

Absolutely wonderful product
I work out every day and this is my go to protein without any animal or GMO or soy or dairy in it. It is all made from different types of mushrooms. It is unflavored, but it has a little bit of monk fruit in it, which makes it taste goodbye itself, but I make smoothies. I put a little fruit and some nuts And some Chia seeds and flaxseed oil and hemp seed into 12 ounces almond milk even though it says you can add ice or water. I don’t want it water down then I put a scoop of stuff and put it in my ninja bullet. It’s very delicious and smooth, but you must drink it all up quickly or it’ll get too thick and that’s normal for protein products but it helps me get my daily protein. It’s the same time while I’m working out as I’m older, but I’m very fit and athletic for my age and I don’t look my age And I am gonna continue to fight that for a long time and this protein drink is all vegan even though I’m not a vegan. I am a big fan of it and it’s the best protein drink. I have found out on the market so far and it’s third-party test it as far as I know , I love it and I will always buy it Actually, very worth the price that you pay for it and it is actually delicious

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
(New Formula) – Extremely DisappointedI’ve been a loyal customer of Four Sigmatic’s protein powder for a YEARS, and it’s always been my favorite and I’ve recommended it to so many people – NOT ANYMORE!!! The recent formula change is a huge disappointment. The original version had a smooth texture, great taste, and simple clean ingredients – a rich color and I felt better every time I drank it. Unfortunately, the new formula has less of the good ingredients and mushrooms and more junk. I loved that this was a simple protein with mushrooms — now it’s a gritty, pale powder that feels like a gimmick.It no longer has that rich, natural flavor that set it apart from other protein powders. I am so disappointed. It feels like the company completely sold out – even the manufacturing facility has changed!I really wish Four Sigmatic had kept the original formula because this new version is a huge step backward. Sadly, I won’t be repurchasing unless they go back to what made their protein powder so great in the first place. If you’re looking for a high-quality, plant-based protein, I’d recommend exploring other brands.

Protein Smoothie
Pleasant taste especially when strawberries, blueberries, banana & avocado are added to it in almond milk. I also add crushed ice & whip it with a stick mixer. Great nutritious lunch!

Tasts like creamy brownie batter without being too sweet !
I have struggled with going back to protein after gastric sleeve surgery like so many. The protein powders so often are too sweet or too….ugh!!!! after surgery. I am a little over a year out from my surgery now and I need to get more protein in to help with satiety, weight loss ( in a stall) and hair loss. I have never liked the whey protein. It stinks its hard on my stomach and always feels bad in me generally speaking. I was looking for a powder that had little sweetness but at the same time didn’t need additional sweetener, didn’t taste like cardboard, and had clean ingredients. Most powders have gums as thickeners those act can effect the gut in a negative way. some have brown rice as the first or second ingredient and that is also a filler and can spike insulin. This powder seems to have only good clean ingredients. The taste is decent. its not terrible the texture is not the best but its also not terrible. all in all very happy with my purchase and will be getting more of these. I want to try the unflavored and the vanilla to see how I like those. I was thinking this powder would also make great brownies! I haven’t tried it yet but that is in the future!

I’ve been looking for a clean vegan protein powder for some time. In particular one with a decent taste. Didn’t want any gums or Stevia. Used it this morning for the first time after a run. It was a little gritty, probably because I didn’t add enough almond milk in or shake it enough. But the taste was very good, like cacao and not too sweet. Enough protein with the added health benefits of mushrooms. Didn’t realize what I a good deal I got for this on Prime Days.

This is a very good protein powder! I really find the vanilla flavour to taste great! I mix with some high protein yogurt and a few frozen berries, and voila! A delightful little high protein snack! My only issue is that the price is quite expensive when you want to consume it daily. I unfortunately can’t enjoy it as much as I’d like, for that reason.
