This is a really great purchase because it ticks all the boxes for me. No fishy aftertaste, which was a pleasant surprise. It’s easy to take with my meals, and I love that it’s Non-GMO Project Verified. It supports my overall wellness, is doctor-formulated with SPM, and delivers over 1000mg of total Omega-3s. Easy to swallow, expensive, moderate fishy aftertaste
I have received this item today, so I am still new to fully review this; but, I will explain a couple of cons and pros of these pills from my first-time use, and will update the review as I am more using it.The primary reason why I wanted to use fish oil pills is to relieve my IBS and Psoriasis symptoms. Whether it helps my brain or other parts of my body is my secondary concern. Hence, I will update my review regarding theses aspects of my expectations off of these pills when I feel like I have used enough of these pills to pass judgment. I am using probiotics as well as the Garden of Life My Kind Organic Multivitamin for Men to relieve my IBS symptoms for a while; but once I felt better, I stopped taking them. And, now due to my new position at work, my increased stress levels induced my IBS symptoms again, and now I am coming back to my old and hopefully working supplement regimen.First Impressions and Observations1. When I first open the bottle, a relatively strong smell of fish came out of it. TBH, I don’t mind this smell, as I like fish products, and it didn’t bother me or wasn’t to the point where it is offputting.2. At this price, I’d expect to see a glass bottle instead of plastic. It is thin plastic, so the pills were a little too warm at their arrival. Perhaps, a thick glass could have protected them better. This is a not major concern unless the bottle is BDP-free, but I am not sure if they are since there is nothing stating that on the bottle. TBH, I am not 100% sure if that really matters for the bottles out of you don’t drink hot beverages. Anyways, I put them in the fridge just to make sure they stay potent during the hot days here.3. The bottle does not come in a paper box. Some could find this negative considering how many people touch it on its travel to your home, especially during the COVID19 pandemic. But, most of the time the paper box is really a one-time deal that goes to waste immediately.4. There is a fishy aftertaste, not when you are swallowing it but after you swallowed it and while it is being digested in your stomach. In a couple of minutes after the pills go down, you will get a fish taste in your mouth.5. I got minor burps for a couple of seconds after I took one, nothing major, nothing concerning or bothering.6. It is expensive. I paid around $50 for the 180 pill bottle. Considering the serving size of 2, it will only last about 3 months. I have mixed feelings about the price; but if the quality of it helps with my symptoms, sure, I can pay that much rather than thousands of dollars to each doctor visit. But, I will see if they will really work out.7. It didn’t upset my stomach, and it is the easiest fish oil pills I swallowed. The shape of the pills was perfect for large fish oil pills. Not sure why other companies could not think of this pill shape before.8. Garden of Life has other variety of fish oil products; but on their website, I could not see many other fish oil products they sell here on Amazon except for these Dr. Formulated ones. It looks like they have recently introduced these pills. That’s why there are no enough reviews at the time of writing this review. Not sure if the other fish oil products are simply discontinued.So far, my judgment is that I am relatively happy, but most of what I have said is about cosmetics of the products, which are not minor, but relatively less important compared to the health benefits I am expecting to see from these pills. However, the price should go down to a more reasonable level for people like myself who want to buy them on regular basis if they see visible benefits. I took off one star due to price and the plastic bottle selection instead of glass.

An Excellent Omega Supplement Choice
I’ve been a fan of this product and I’m really glad I chose it. The absence of a fishy aftertaste is a great bonus given that it’s a fish oil supplement.
