Best meal replacement I’ve ever had
I used this product as a breakfast replacement. I’m giving it 4 stars because personally I was able to make it to lunch without being so hungry I was ready to chew my own foot off. About 10 am I had a small snack (1/2 apple or mango or a stick of cheese)When I ordered the GNC Lean Shake 25 I ordered the;Mixed Berry powder 210 cal per 8-10 oz water. 10 oz of water makes it too thin and watery. As far as taste goes I’ll give it a 0. It is beyond nasty and there is nothing fruity about it. I plan to force myself to drink all of it because I can’t see wasting $40, but it makes me want to gag.Cookies & Cream powder 200 cal per 8-10 oz water. Taste wise I’ll give it a 4. It was very doable. Again though, 10 oz water makes it too watery tasting.Banana Cream ready made shake in a 14 oz bottle. The ready made was 14 oz and 170 calories. As far as taste it is by far the best. I’ll give this one 10 stars. The bottles are super easy And have 14 oz as opposed to 8 oz and far less calories. All have 25g protein. However, the banana only has 3g fiber, the other two have 8g.

It tastes good, but lacks the peanut butter taste
First impressions, I’ll definitely say that it does taste really good, but you mainly taste the chocolate more than you do peanut butter. I did hope you could taste the PB a bit more, but in future drinks, I recommend grabbing some left over peanut butter if you really LOVE your peanut butter.DON’T use one scoop for an 8oz cup. More or so use it for 12-16oz+ one instead. I recommend using half for 8oz, because if not, the mix gets crowded and won’t all dissolve.

This tasted absolutely awful. Infollowed the directions and used the appropriate amount of cold water, shook well, and blegh! It tasted like water that someone had dropped a little cookies and cream ice cream into. I only managed to take a few sips before I had to dump it out because I couldn’t force myself to drink it.

Very Little Berry Flavor Overwhelmed by Whey
Based on other reviews, it’s too bad that I dislike chocolate and cookies and cream.I’m a bit disappointed in the Berry flavor. It is not overly sweet, but has only a very slight berry taste and the whey flavor is overwhelming. I made it palatable by adding a ripe banana and about 8 large fresh strawberries. With a heaping scoop of the powder, 1 cup of ice and water mixed and the fruit, it made about 24 ounces, more than I can drink at one time. And I used a blender to get a very nice, thick and cold smoothie. It just doesn’t taste that great.In the past, I’ve used meringue powder or egg white powder to make smoothies. There are other ingredients in the meringue powder (a little sugar, some corn starch), but 6 tablespoons of egg white powder has 90 calories and 27 grams of protein. I’ve never used that much, but it has no taste so I may try it instead of the GNC. I will try to use up the GNC mix because of its cost.
