I 100% love this product from GOOP. I use it everyday and it has definitely made a difference to my skin. Effective in what it says it will do. Not greasy at all, absorbs nicely into the skin after applying. A bit pricey, but still worth it. Splurge!

Very light exfoliation, brightens skin.
I have used many different brands of retinol, both over the counter and prescription. This retinol compared to other over the counter high-end ($50+) US made brands are comparable in strength. This retinol has more of a cream consistency and goes on smoothly. It has a light scent that is neither good or bad and disappears after about minute of wear. I have been using this retinol serum 3 times a week, for the past 3 weeks and have noticed that my skin (50-year-old dry and sensitive) have lightly exfoliated. I do feel a very slight mild tingling warm feeling on my skin when first applied, especially the more sensitive areas (this is normal for products with retinol). The dark spots have slightly faded, and my skin overall seems a bit brighter. What I don’t like about this retinol is the lack of transparency. The ingredient list does not indicate the percentage of retinol that is in this product. All other brands of retinol serum/cream (both OTC and prescription) have a percentage of retinol listed which is important because the more retinol, the better the product, and the higher the price. “3x Retinol” does not mean anything and for such a pricey product, this is unacceptable. Would I order this again? Probably not as there are other OTC brands out there that are so much better at a third of the cost. This product is made in the USA.

Just don’t. Please. This stuff is such a waste of money. I bought this because of its blend of reinal and retinol, as well as Goop’s reputation. Sadly, this product is too thick to penetrate the skin and “pills” when you do try to massage it in. It’s completely useless and has mad no difference in my skin. Very frustrating and disappointing.
