Not strong smelling, seems to be of good quality
This is my first castor oil purchase, and I made sure to purchase what I thought would be of great quality and value. It says “organic” and so I hope it truly is. The oil has a slight smell to it (not rancid, just a ‘normal’ oil smell). It’s very thick, and a little goes a long way. I’ve been using it on the tops of my hands to try it out after my dermatologist used the cryogenic freeze thingy to remove something on my skin. It’s healing nicely, so I’m happy with this oil.It is thick, but what I do is put the oil on my skin, and then I rub some regular hand lotion overtop. I like the smell of my own hand lotion overtop, and I do believe it sort of helps to either seal in or disapate some of the oil left on my skin. I look forward to using it for other skin/hair treatments.

Very good quality oil, we did notice a reduction in hair fall and some new hair growth after regular use. It is very thick and oily. We usually mix it with some rosemary oil before application.

I’ve also found it to be incredibly effective for abdominal massages, which really helped with bloating and easing menstrual discomfort.A little tip for other users: I noticed that the oil is much easier to spread and becomes more fluid as it warms up with your body heat. Keeping it at room temperature makes it more manageable for massages than when it’s cold.While many people use castor oil for hair and eyelashes, I personally haven’t used it on my face. The texture is quite thick, and I have a feeling it might lead to breakouts for my skin type. However, for body use, it’s perfect. Works great on my hair!!
This is so amazing on my hair and scalp. I have a somewhat itchy scalp, I rubbed this one my scalp and through my hair. It is very thick, so I didn’t comb it through, but I suppose if you had a wide tooth comb you could, but I just squirted it on my hair and clipped it in a bun. About 2 or 3 hours later it started to drip onto my shoulders, so I showered & wow, my hair sooms restored. It was a bit dry and lifeless before, and now it is lovely: great texture. And my scalp feels 100% better, none of the dry itchiness. Fast ship and great packaging, thank you!!
