Hair Today, Longer Tomorrow
I needed to grow out a bad haircut- fast! My niece recommended Mane ‘n Tail. I saw the Herbal Gro 4 pc. version and decided to try it. I was disappointed when my kit came. Despite being called Herbal Gro, there was no mention of the speedy grow out I needed. Just stuff like less breakage, nourish from root to tip, etc. But I was willing to give it a shot.Average hair growth is 1/2 inch per month; faster in the summer, slower in the winter. On a cold winter day, I measured a section of my hair that would be easy to locate again. It measured 2 inches.The shampoo, lightly scented, had somewhat of a slimy feel to it. It cleansed my hair without a lot of excessive lather, and rinsed away quickly. The conditioner, lightly scented as well, also quickly rinsed away. One thing that amazed me, that I’ve never experienced before, was that the conditioner didn’t leave a coating on my body. It rinsed away nice and clean, quickly.Next came the spray. I used this mainly at the root area, so as not to weigh my hair down with product. It made my hair feel very soft. For step 4, the leave in cream, a little dab was all I needed. I have course, curly, dry hair and all of these products nourished my hair. someone with normal or oily hair would want to use less of the spray and cream.So, after a month of using these products exclusively, I am the proud owner of a new inch of hair! It may not sound like much, but it is above the norm, and has given a new life to my bad haircut! And I still have about a month or two worth of product left! I would definitely repurchase this.

I bought this product bc I got a haircut I wasn’t expecting, I asked for a trim and they chopped off about 4-5 inches. I am getting married in a year and had been growing my hair for 3 years, it grows very slow and I really want it long for our special day so I am desperate and I really hope mane and tail lives up to its name and all the reviews. I have heard only good things for a very long time about this line. I received all the products on time and they were securely packaged, no spills or anything. I used them for the first time today and I am very happy with how clean and nice my hair feels and looks. Zero fly-always, smells really nice and my hair looks extra voluminous, lustrous and thick. For the shampoo and conditioner, a little goes a long way which is great, I think the products will last very long. So it’s too early to tell if my hair will grow fast from this but it’s still a great product and I’m happy.

I discovered I needed to use a natural shampoo differently than regular shampoos
Got this kit because it was very highly recommended. At first, I was not too impressed. For the first time I used only the shampoo and conditioner, I wasnted to see what they did on their own. My hair felt dry and brittle afterwards. The next two times, I tried one and then the other extras. It helped with the brittleness. One thing I have always had difficulty with was natural shampoos and this was proving to be no different, but because mane n tail cane so highly recommended, i really wanted to like it, so I decided that maybe what I needed to do was change the method I use to clean my hair.Since this line is meant to help hair grow, and hair grows from the roots, and my ends were getting dry and brittle from it, AND the dirtiness seems to happen closer to the head, I stopped using the shampoo and the conditioner on my ends, using imthem only to massage my head and the length of hair that is closest to my scalp (I have pretty long hair, down to the middle of my back). I noticed a huge improvement right away. The brittleness went away completely and my hair started feeling really soft.I mostly use the spray, but once a week or maybe two, I use the leave in conditioner. It does make my hair get oily faster than normal, but the interesting thing is that it is not exactly a dirty looking oily, somehow. It feel thick and full and heavy, and I have no fly aways. It doesn’t look bad.I really want to say hat I’ve noticed that my hair is growing faster, but I’m not sure if that’s just wishful thinking. I want this to work so I’m looking for it to work. I have been using it for a little over a month and I am pretty happy with it.The only thing is that I have noticed that my hair seems to fall out more since I’ve started using it, which is a little unnerving. The strange thing is that, even still, my hair feels fuller. So I’m not exactly sure what to make of it.I do love the silky softness and it’s worth it for that. I used to be a tresseme girl all the way, but my hair feel much more amazing now. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the hair falling out part.

Seen others reviewing this on tictok and decided to try it. Smells amazing and helps my hair feel soft and much less greasy. I don’t like to wash my hair daily due to your bodies natural oils so this helps a lot.

Great looking hair
I remember using Mane ‘n Tail back in high-school and always liked it but it seemed a little too heavy. I have naturally blonde, fine hair (but a lot of it) and it was a bit on the oily side. I’m 29 now and trying to grow my hair out from an a-symmetrical bob and came across the Herbal Gro formula as I’ve been looking for ways to increase the speed of growth (I’m impatient!).Does this product really make your hair grow faster? I don’t know. That would involve scientific measurements, a control group, and long trial periods.What I will tell you is that it smells great and leaves my hair feeling very soft and healthy. It doesn’t seem heavy and I’m not sure if that is the difference in formula original vs Gro formula, a change in my biology in the last 12+ years, switching from city to well water… who knows, but who cares! I’ve even had people comment on how healthy and shiny my hair looks.Unfortunately the cream therapy leaves my hair looking greasy. So I’ll skip that product in the future.
