One star off for no 3rd party testing
3rd party testing is the only way to know if the ingredients in a supplement are actually in the supplement and to know if there are no extra bad things in there. Yes, it costs the manufacturer more, but isn’t it worth it to know you’re getting what you’re paying for?Otherwise, these are a decent dose at a decent price.

Lead warning
Green tea is supposed to be good for you but there is a lead warning on the label.Made in USA, manufactured for a company in New Jersey but no information on the label concerning what country on the planet Earth they sourced the ingredients from. Though they are not legally obligated to inform what country they source the ingredients from they, IMO, still could if they wanted to. I really like to know what country stuff I ingest was sourced from.

Health benefits of tea in pill form!
EGCG is one of the primary components in tea associated with the health benefits we hear about with tea in various studies. I wanted to try this out as I do drink a lot of tea, but I also like the idea of ensuring I’m getting those benefits on days I don’t drink tea.The packaging was very professional with no major concerns on quality or any issues there. The capsules themselves don’t have any weird odor or anything, so will say I think these are a good quality. When taking these, I didn’t experience any negative side effects. I know some people take these for either energy or pain relief, but I don’t have any issues with those currently, but again, didn’t feel any adverse effects either. I think with supplements and especially with tea, it can take a while to see the benefits, but being consistent will see general improvement in overall health.Overall, I think this is a good EGCG supplement, and would recommend to others. Quality is on point and had no adverse effects. As mentioned, I’m not taking this for energy or pain relief but could see this helping those who are looking to address. I took this specifically for overall health and well being and will say think this does deliver there.

15 day supply at recommended dosing.
These are very large. Says to take 3 pills 2 times a day. Well seeing as how there is only 90 capsules that only equals 15 days in the bottle. Thought I would try this out as it would be easier than mixing tea but I think I will just stick to the powder and mx it myself as it makes more sense. On the plus side it is made in the USA and they took the extra effort to put a child proof cap on which many companies do not do anymore. There is a lead warning on the bottle…..No preservatives but I can be exposed to lead..uhm ok. Anyways lead is a no go for me so I will be shelving this one.

Not on empty stomach
Do not take the full dose of these on an empty stomach. I have the same issue where if I have a hot brewed cup of green tea first thing in the morning without any food, about 30 mins later I get incredibly nauseous. I read that it is due to the tannins in green tea. This product must contain tannins too, as I had the same effect. The capsules are also pinkish brown, and I am not sure why if green tea is green.I do appreciate this product is: affordable, made in the USA, and third party tested. Those are all important, and increasingly rare to find with supplements on here. Had I seen the benefits I was looking for, i.e. help with weight loss, as many people use this ingredient for, I would have given this a higher rating. 3.5 stars overall.
